there is an elevator. so even on the 5th floor it is still safe. in front of the hotel there is definitely a night market. finding food is not difficult. in the morning you can just walk and get it. for a stopover it is okay. I was afraid to read people's reviews but it turned out not to be as bad as imagined. very good. the staff is friendly. close to the airport so it is okay for a transit break.

It's a disaster if you stay at Hotel Iskandar, you've stayed there many times, you just have to be patient. 1. Staff service is not good. 2. Bathroom facilities are broken. 3. The TV is thankfully so good that you don't have to put the TV in the room. 4. The mattress sheets and pillows still smell, the tree really loses the mood immediately if you want to stay at Hotel Iskandar Kota Kinabalu

We got room upgrade due to some problems which was awesome but it was at level 4 with no elevator, a bit tiring. not recommended for seniors. location wise is great, there was a buskers playing in front of our hotel on Saturday night, it was so nice seeing people having fun dancing around. 10 minutes walk to the Philippines market. Hotel is quite cheap, and you got what you pay for.
