My boy really enjoyed staying in Mega Hotel. Not only for the spacious room and cozy bed but also for the facilities. He love swimming in the pool. One of the cleaniess I might say. My favourite place will be the restaurant during our breakfast..They have tons of variety that you can choose from. Recommended staying in this hotel with Traveloka as they offered the best rate ever!

Inside Miri city centre, there is 24h convenience store next to the hotel. The hotel is an old hotel, so you might not find electric socket near/next to your bed. Breakfast was okay, starts early at 6.00 am.

The hotel is located in the middle of the city center, making it easy to access anywhere. The parking area is also easy. But the toilet is very uncomfortable, no bidet, not Muslim-friendly, difficult to perform ablution, the toilet pump is broken. The room is noisy with music, I don't know where it comes from, can't turn it off or it's broken to turn it off. Can't sleep at night. Overall, it's not comfortable.

I had a rough journey before check-in. Upon check-in, the receptionist was kind enough to inform me that my preferred non-smoking room wasn't available during check-in. Check-in was done swiftly for I accepted the room they offered. My room was great, but I was a bit disappointed that it didn't have a bathtub (maybe it was because of the renovation. So, yeah, I was cool about it 😆.) I had a great lunch at their restaurant and overall, the meals served during my entire stay had been superb and fit my picky palate. Overall, my stay was pleasant, and on the next trip, I'd reconsider staying in this hotel again.

Drop your hesitation when you're looking at this Mega Hotel Miri! From their services to bedroom, they went extra miles to ensure everything is covered including cleanliness, fast check-in procedures and politeness. Location is situated at the most strategic and convenient place where you can buy any toiletries/snacks, Times Square, Bintang Megamall, Tua Pek Kong Temple and etc by walking distance. Wide front entrance allows the e-hailing driver has ample space to stop in front of you. Love it!
