Effective from 1 June 2014, Penang Local Government Fee imposed on all hotel guests in Penang and the rates vary according to the type of hotel the guest is staying in. RM3.00 will be charged per room per night for 4-star and 5-star hotels and RM2.00 will be charged per room per night for 3-star hotels and below. This amount is to be collected by the Hotel, on behalf of the RMDC upon check-out. *Local Council Tax will be exempted from July 1 to December 31, 2020.* ========================================================= You may be required to present valid government-issued identification at check-in, along with credit card / cash to cover the incidentals and deposits. All special request such as additional car park, early, check-in, late check-out etc, are strongly subject to availability. You are advised to liaise with owner directly at least 24 hours before arrival for special arrangement. Hotel may charge you additional fee for each extra person after reserves room’s maximum occupancy. Extra bed and baby cot is not available in this hotel. ========================================================== A mandatory RM10 Tourism Tax (TTx) will be imposed on all hotel room rates on a per room per night basis to all non-Malaysian guests. This is imposed by Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMDC) effective from September 2017. This amount is to be collected by the Hotel, on behalf of the RMDC upon check-out. All Malaysian Nationals and Permanent Residents are exempted from paying this tax with valid proof or ID presented at front desk upon check-in. *Tourism tax will be exempted from July 1, 2020, to June 30, 2021.*
