Effective from June 1, 2014, the City Council of Penang will impose a Local Council Tax of MYR 3 per room per night for 4 and 5-star hotels, and MYR 2 per room per night for 0 to 3-star hotels. The star rating will be in accordance to the rating from Local Council and should the rating differ from the website, the local council rating will apply. This fee is being included in Hotel's Room Rate. With effect from 01 September 2017, with reference to the Law of Malaysia Act 791, Tourism Act 2017, hotel guests who are non-Malaysian or non-Permanent Resident of Malaysia, are committed to a Tourism Tax of MYR 10.00 nett per room night of stay as determined and imposed by the Malaysian Government, which is not included in the reservation and will be collected by the hotel upon check in. The staff is nice and quick to respond, the location is close to Lam Wah Hospital, you can walk there & if you use Grab it costs around RM8, there is a dispenser & public iron, all the facilities are useful, the hotel environment is also clean, it's just a bit confusing that there is no daily room cleaning or is that really the case. Finding halal food is difficult for me. I can't find it anywhere, so I order online and it's also a bit far, the cost can be close to the price of the food or maybe I just lack information. Overall it's good, it's just a hassle to find food

Every time I go to Lam Wah Ee Hospital for treatment, I always stay here. It's close to the market, so I can shop for fruits and vegetables. It's also close to the food court, which offers a wide selection, especially if you like Chinese food—it's delicious.
