Explorers Guesthouse was a great place to stay for a few days in Kuala Lumpur. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and always available. There is a free light breakfast (toast and assorted jellies), coffee and tea, and WiFi throughout the building. The location is centrally located near Chinatown, several markets and is within walking distance of KL Eco Park.

Very memorable stay! I stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights and honestly had no complaints at all. The location is strategic, the AC was cold, the room was clean, hot water worked well, and there was hot water available in the kitchen too. The staff (sadly I didn’t catch their names) were super friendly, kind, and always smiling. I would definitely consider staying here again if I come back to KL.

It would be good to add more toilet cubicles serving all dorms at level 3. Currently only 2 shower & 2 W.C. I was using toilet cubicle when someone tried to push open the door. Luckily I locked it & had to call out that someone inside. Didn't stay throughout my 3 days. Please do monitor the cleanliness of the toilet. Thank you!

Other guests (bangladeshi or infian, I don't knw use toulet without flushing it) so very smelly because the cr located outside the room. They also don't sanitized the bathroom and cr so I buy my own powder soap and xonrox to clean it. Most of the guests were men so they drink 2 nights and very noisy. And I feel scared and afraid to take a bath because theres men outside drinking liquor. And the bathroom and common toumets located outside also. Very very very bad stay. So I just use toilet in the airport bfore my flight. Oh my God! Please make your hotel clean. And make a rule for the men that drinking not allowed. And secure the lock of female room because it was so scary.

The hotel is strategically located close to Petaling street and Pasar Seni station. Only if you are on the 3rd floor, you can't go up the stairs, there is no elevator. Get towels, the rooms are quite clean, only 1 room for 10 people. If it's only for 1 night it's okay but if it's for 2 or 3 nights I don't recommend it. The staff is fine.
