We went there for our 13th anniversary and had a wonderful experiences. The staff and hospitality are great! We also had our anniversary dinner at the Contango. Wide selection of buffet spread and delicious too, especially the dessert.

My husband and I were spending a night stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary as well as my husband’s birthday in The Majestic hotel. The stay is awesome. The room is clean and comfortable. Thank you, the lovely crews have made it so special to us with the complimentary cake and decoration in room.

Wonderful stay at Majestic KL. From the rescheduling of the stay due to unforeseen circumstances, to the swift and professional check in process and the politeness and helpfulness of the hotel staff throughout our stay, we have no complain at all. We especially love the soft and fluffy pillow and bed , had a blissful sleep and well rejuvenated. Not forgetting the wonderful hot tub experience. Even though the hotel only has a small swimming pool and gym, but I guess the great hospitality and wonderful room is more than enough for a pleasant stay. Thank you for the complimentary flowers and meal and make our stay extra memorable. Special thanks to Miss Louise and other hotel staff for making our stay wonderful.

Had a wonderful stay at this amazing hotel--absolutely loved the amenities, especially the huge and comfortable bed, the bathtub with a TV in the bathroom, and the coffee maker. Checking in and out was also fast and efficient, staff were always perfectly pleasant, and I found my stay excellent value for the rate. My only small gripe was that the swimming pool closed a little early at 7pm, but everything else was top notch.

This is a 5 star boutique hotel that is confortable with exceptional service at all levels. The restaurants were very good-breakfast, lunch and dinner were buffet style with plenty of selection. There was another restaurant that had a la carte and a bar which we did not try.

Good but I expected a bit more from the hotel itself. They didn’t take into account my Marriott status and my room was very noisy (could hear crystal clear the mosquee), was then transferred to another room upon my request which was fine.
The room was clean but the materials were sometimes out of date/ broken. Everything was fixed as soon as I asked so the service and staff are really great and the hotel is great overall but it’s slightly below what one would expect for a 5 star hotel.
Room service was tested and satisfying!

Everything was great - but marked down one star due to terrible wifi in room, which I need for working remotely. Multiple times I asked and was promised a resolution. Which didn’t happen. Otherwise, everything else was great. But won’t return due to awful wifi service, unfortunately.

This is a very luxurious hotel. It has all the colonial charms of the past. Although the room was beautiful, the design of the bathroom was uncomfortable. It was hard to use the toilet with hitting your head on the small glass enclosure. The towels were located with the toilet rather than the shower and there was no soap dispenser with the second sink.
The location was not near any eating establishments and the options at the hotel were pricey and limited.

I was very impressed with my tower, deluxe room with King size four poster bed. Staff were polite informative and always helpful. I really enjoyed the food and room service was always very prompt. I would certainly recommend and would be more than happy to book again.

It is a beautiful hotel in good condition. My jr suite was huge and the furniture was very comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful with a huge soaker tub and rainshower.

They listed shuttle services which don’t exist anymore on their website.
The front desk gents were nice, but everyone else was not very friendly or helpful.
TV channels are very limited and it made no sense to have a tv in a bathroom as we don’t understand local languages.
Thought they were so much better last time I stayed before Covid. I won’t come back again.

Didn't like.....
Only one trash can in the entire room.
Ordered coffee and fries in room.......came very cold. After complaining a hot plate of fries was delivered.
Coffee maker was old ...... it was a challenge get it to brew.
Bathroom and in-room tub design was pretty bad.
Concierge had very little knowledge of local events or happenings.

I recently stayed at The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur and came away with mixed feelings. While there were several highlights, there were also areas for improvement.
Check-In Experience
The check-in process was not as smooth as I expected. Despite arriving at 4:20 PM, my Junior Suite was not ready. While I don’t hold the reception staff accountable, the recovery could have been handled better. On the upside, I requested complimentary breakfast for the inconvenience, which they kindly granted. I appreciated that gesture.
Location
The hotel’s location is a drawback. There’s nothing within walking distance, so you’ll need a vehicle to get anywhere. No malls, restaurants, or attractions are nearby, which might not suit travelers who prefer more accessible surroundings.
Service
The service, however, was excellent. The staff were incredibly attentive and responsive. They use WhatsApp for communication, which made it convenient to request assistance. For instance, when my Wi-Fi connection slowed down, a butler brought a portable Wi-Fi unit within 5 minutes—a level of efficiency that exceeded expectations.
Overall
While no hotel can deliver perfect service, I am grateful for the attentive staff and their quick response to my needs. The challenges with check-in and the less-than-ideal location were offset by the exceptional service. If convenience and immediate access to amenities aren’t priorities, The Majestic could still offer a memorable experience.
