Room was great

Spent two days here, very quiet town, very clean hotel with lovely caring staff. Roof top pool wonderful, with great views and cocktails. Ghaxaq is a quiet town with few dining out options, but if you’re looking for somewhere quiet away from the busyness of Valetta, highly recommend. Close to airport too.

A lovely building but really lacking from a service front. Was told on arrival that is been upgraded by management to a hot tub superior room… when I’d already booked and paid for it. Was then told the restaurant was running a limited menu due to ‘menu changing’. There was pizza and pasta, neither of which I could eat being GF. We booked this hotel for proximity to the airport knowing there were no food options around but that they had a restaurant with an extensive menu. Instead we had to take a return taxi to a nearby town for dinner. The hot tub- buttons worn and 2 corners of keys not working (also no instructions). No covers for the outside furniture on terrace so when the rain stopped we couldn’t sit outside as all cushions were soaked. Breakfast was POOR. Far from what was expected. Receptionist although very polite, just didn’t seem to be able to identify or deal with any problems. Following an email asking what time we wanted to check in (and saying 1pm) we arrived at 2pm and the room was t ready. Having been in the crazy storms we were soaked through and told just to have a seat for an hour… an offer of a towel would’ve been appreciated! Lovely building and room- service sorely lacking , especially for the money.

The hotel and the room were beautiful and the staff was courteous. There was a wedding on the property during my stay, which limited access to most of the amenities, however all in all it was a really good experience. Accessing the hotel entrance after hours is tricky and I would recommend asking one of the staff members to provide a tutorial rather than relying on the printed instructions. if you want a nice, quiet, historic place to stay in that area of the island that is close to the airport, I recommend it. If you are looking for more hustle and bustle, I would recommend somewhere closer to the coast.

Historic palatial property with stylish decor and gorgeous rooftop pool with church view.Set in a quaint village with intricate buildings and a lovely town square,it’s in a dreamy location.The rooms are spacious and comfy with mini bars,free tea and coffee and balcony views.The breakfast spread is also vast and very tasty.

Beautiful hotel and wonderful staff.

This hotel is in a small village so it was nice to see locals not tourists. We didn’t have any issue finding parking on the street for our rental car. The staff was top notch! So friendly and helpful. It was nice to sightsee during the day and then go in the rooftop pool to cool off. Happy Hour each evening was a bonus. We ate at the rooftop one evening because we didn’t feel like going out. It was delish. I will say the bed is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on! Breakfast in the morning was very good and distance to the airport was a plus.

The staff at our hotel were so attentive, polite and kind. They saw to our every need during our stay. The hotel is well positioned to explore Malta. The rooftop bar and pool were great and the food and drinks were lovely. A beautiful building in a super location with great architecture.

Had a lovely stay here. The hotel is located really close to the airport which helped us maximise our stay. The rooms are lovely and spacious and they have a nice small rooftop pool. All of the staff were so lovely and caring, but a special thank you to Nirosha, she was such a good vibe and so kind, helpful and fun. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel was clean, modern and luxurious. It is convenient for driving to airport and Valletta. My The hotel is not at all convenient for walking to any restaurants. My only criticism is that the hotel restaurant selections are very limited and as a vegetarian there were slim choices. This coupled with no restaurants in walking distance meant more driving. Otherwise we loved our room and found the inner courtyard to be very charming. Room was available early and staff were always lovely. Check out the underground pool, an incredibly unique feature!!
