Clean room, great stay, easy access

For the price, you cannot beat the Ahava hotel. Located right in the heart of Playa del Carmen, the location is amazing and the hotel is nice. It does get loud in the evenings, but we didn't mind and had no problem falling asleep. I will definitely stay here again the next time we visit.

We checked out the next morning, and they charged us an additional fee for each room per day. The rooms and restrooms were so filthy that I fell ill the same night my asthma flared up due to the mold. The towels and bed sheets were so dirty that my family and I were rushed all over our bodies.

Overall it was good, considering the price, but there was no hot water and blanket in my room.

Air condition was fine, the toilet seat was very flimsy, it would collapse I to the toilet as you sat on it. They also do not provide and blanket, so it's tricky to set AC, too cold and you feel cold, too high and you feel humid.

This was a terrible mistake and experience. The bathrooms are coed and to walk into two men having sex in the shower, makes you not want to have a shower afterwards. It is very humid very hot and the most loudest place I have ever stayed. It is across from senior frogs. Literally, I had painful migraines. They will not switch rooms for you. You will be stuck in what I called tormenting noise beyond construction it sounded like seven bands going off at once on megaphones I would have to get up and leave and go sit at the beach until 334 in the morning until they finally stopped because I could not even handle being in the room my bike was thrown in the garbage. The staff would always ask me for cigarettes or drink. I did not sleep the entire time I was there or shower because the bathrooms are so gross and obviously they don’t care what happens in the bathroom after walking into what I saw two men getting it on And even a girl in the men’s bathroom because I believe it’s Covid. I’m not sure but there is no regulation there.

This is a neat little hotel close to the tourist hub of Playa Del Carmen. Bit noisy at night but I was happy with the value and product.

Solucionar lo del parqueo

Close to 5a Avenida, close to the beach, lots to do nearby. It's not an all inclusive with the beach right there, but it delivers what it promises.

Good place to stay at a good price nothing to fancy but near 5th ave and lots of food options near by

The common facility looks nice, but the rooms are old and there was mosquitoes inside constantly. Location is great 2min from Coco Bongo walking, but you can hear all the noise outside( It gets quiet around 330). I was on the 1st floor( maybe that's why).

Dirty and old condition. Sure its not 3stars hotel.. maybe zero star. Unfriendly staff. No breakfast.. only one small kitchen extremely dirty

There was no hot water in the night or in the morning. The reception said that it was because the hotel was full. No furniture in the room, just made from cinder blocks and wood slab. The towels looked like rags. When I first asked for a blanket they told me they didn't have any because the hotel was full but later gave me one. There was also construction going on right outside of my window that woke us up early on a Saturday morning. Definitely not a comfortable place.

whilst the man at the office was nice, the pictures of the hotel did not match up with what we say. the shower door was broken, bathroom was dingy the amenities were quite old and broken; it was quite disappointing

Bathroom was not good, towels looked 20 years old and no duvet offered, just thin bed sheets. Staff was very helpful though and the Italian restaurant beside it was delicious, but the place needs serious renovation/maintenance.
