Yes, it was absolutely beautiful

It was just a 1 night stop, on our way from San Pedro Belize to Playa Del Carmen. It was OK The bathroom was clean. Pick-up/drop-off provided was convenient. We didn’t get the room that we booked; instead we were given a room that has 1 sunroof window; no view of the outside. Our room was like a dungeon. MOSQUITOES buzzed around and kept me up all night.

Is very nice place quiet and accessible, right at the port , is very small town and no much to do there

Service was incredible, the room was beautiful and the location was amazing. The rooftop pool was great, too!

Got in very late from a train trip. Communication was great helping us get in. Only stayed one night, wish it had been longer.

Location is Chetumal couldn’t be better. Our view looked out on the bay. The studio is big between 700 & 800 square feet. Very large balcony and high ceiling. Staff is very nice but no English. (Google translate) Internet is fine, broke while there and was replaced with new router. Cons: poor water pressure adequate to shower but just barely. I assume it’s condensation from the air conditioning and fridge but there’s intermittent puddles of water below the air conditioner and around the fridge. Couch can open up into a bed but it’s not very comfortable as a couch. TV didn’t have any stations but could connect to Netflix. Despite the cons, if I was staying in Chetumal, I would not be adverse to staying there again.

Tiny little boutique Hotel only stayed one night so we could catch the ferry to Belize. But there are good restaurants within walking distance, the staff was so nice and welcoming, the room was perfect, and it was worth what we paid. We would definitely stay here again for a longer amount of time to explore the whole area.

Everything was great with our stay Oct 26th 2024 for one night however when I booked 2 days prior it said I would be charged at the property at checkin but was still immediately charged $75.94. When I checked in at the property on 26th they charged me another $76.90. It has been 3 calls now to request a refund and 2 weeks after still nothing. This was my only concern.

Lovely place, we in their private two bedroom home-style rental, a few blocks from the main Ala Residencias building. Property was lovely, sort of a little oasis in town with private parking, a large lawn area, walkway, small plunge pool, two beds, one in the open floorplan studio style area that included the kitchen and living area. The second bed is in a smaller private bedroom. Lovely glass doors looking out onto the lawn area.. we enjoyed our stay here and will be back again.

This is our favorite place to stay in chetumal, right near the park and alot of food vendors - beautiful view of the sea from the pool rooftop, and really nice large rooms. Always a comfortable stay.

This is one of my favorite places to stay! Close to great restaurants and the water! Very convenient for traveling in and out of Belize or headed north to the Riviera Maya! Mirna is a wonderful host!!

Beautiful spacey stay at the Bahia of Chetumal

On arrival at ALA Residences, we decided to upgrade ourselves to one of the loft suites (with kitchen, etc) and we couldn’t have been happier - spacious, great facilities, excellent WiFi and TV, comfortable, etc, etc. Great staff too. And all right on the malecon, Great value for the location. Brilliant,
