Diamond Bay

Not pleased with it, the whole resort is outdated and not maintained, not even coffee at the rooms nor internet, a coffee maker is there but not even filters, redtaurabt opens on weekends only, and menu very small, rooms are old, not pleased, not recommended

Una de las ventajas de quedarse en este hotel es la ubicación. La playa está muy tranquila, limpia, agradable, con muy poca gente. La alberca igual muy tranquila, limpia, con poca gente, y a buena temperatura, todo esto a pesar de que fue puente. El staff se portó muy bien, fueron muy atentos en todo momento, y nos apoyaron con todo lo que se necesitó. Gracias a todos! Mi único problema con el hotel es que las instalaciones necesitan una remodelación: la alberca tiene muchos mosaicos rotos, la pintura del hotel se ve decaída, las habitaciones tienen poca decoración y muebles viejos. Ningún baño tiene el aparatito de metal para sostener el papel de baño, y detalles menores de ese estilo. También mi papá reservó a través de hoteles.com para estar todos juntos en una boda, y el Hotel, Diamond Bay, nos canceló la reserva un día antes, esto porque se escogió la opción, en hoteles.com, de pagar al llegar, pero Diamond Bay tiene una política de que si la reserva no está pagada y se llena el hotel, te cancelan tu reserva para dársela a alguien más. Esto me pareció ridículo y una falta de atención al cliente ya que afectó todos los planes de viaje. Tuvieron que hospedar a mi papá en su otro hotel, Zafiro Hotel Beach, y tuvieron puras malas experiencias en ese otro hotel: el excusado no tenía taza, el a/c no funcionaba, el excusado no tenía agua, todo muy mal! Esa parte de su servicio nos quedó a deber muchísimo. Fuera de ahí, todo lo demás que mencioné, estuvo muy bien.

Charging us for a towel is insane!!!! Never again!

El clima en la alberca era frio, pero las habitaciones si son muy comodas

We were particularly impressed with the friendliness of the staff. They were very helpful and qucknto answer any questions we had. The room was very comfortable although the bed made creaking noises when I moved during the night.

Excellent location. Great value.

Muy ruido, la comida muy mala, no hay teléfono para comunicarse a recepción y te pide que lo hagas de tu celular y se corta la llamada. Todo muy viejo y feo

Restaurant not open. No coffee available. No ice. minimal towels. no phones in room. had to walk to front desk to ask for anything. Hotel was empty. Rooms needed upgrade.

Only one restaurant and it’s always close. Everything is far 215-20mins

My cousin had her wedding here and i was terrified staying here bc of the reviews as im pretty picky and usually travel with my own sheets! So the wedding was the most beautiful wedding ever. Our room was in the main building it was huge, clean and beautiful view. Full kitchen 2 full baths, bedroom was a good size. Bed were hard but surprisingly comfortable. Only bad thing is train tracks are right next to the hotel and almost every morning at 6am it would wake us up. The hotel was dead no people except my family and i. About 30 of us. Everyone raved about their room expect one family that stayed in the villas by pool area. Those seem out dated and old so main building is the way to go. Bar was not open ever. Restaurants food was not bad but horrible service tooook forever to get our drink order, food, check even though it wasnt busy at all. Little store remains locked so when u want to go in to buy something u have to ask front desk to open it. Pool was cold but kids had a blast. House keepers where great and getting transportation was easy! I would stay again but they definitely need to work on the customer service and restaurant situation. Dont know how they stay in business with no people there. They would have made great money had the bar been open for my family that loved to drink.

A nice quiet resort on a semi-secluded beach, with the exception of a party going on at a nearby resirt. Fortunately the loud music ended by midnight. The rooms were very comfortable however the ceiling fan didn't work in one (room 108) ans the a/c wasn't working in another room we were using (room 106). The pool was clean, although the temperature was a little cool, but you adjusted after a few seconds in the water. The lounge chairs by the pool were hit or miss, and at least one broke while one of us was sitting in it. There was a limited number of chairs available, however, as there weren't too many guests, this wasn't an issue. All in all, a nice stay and we will probably go there again in the future.

Nice property for the discounted price we got but other than a bed the hotel had little to nothing to offer. Pool seemed to be losing water, it was about 12-15 inches below what was the water level at one point. No food or drink available or allowed at the pool. No WIFI accept in the lobby. Literally about 100 ft from the train tracks so plan to get up early. Not sure if it was lack of customers but them seemed to be struggling in many areas, I wish them luck

Nice and quiet area, it’s good to drive or you’ll spend lots of time in taxis. Room was spacious and decent but the bed, sheets and pillows were really uncomfortable, hence my poor rating

Restaurant was not available as advertised no coffee available as advertised staff was very short and unhelpful, would not recommend this hotel to anyone, I usually try not to give bad reviews but this was one of the worst stays we have had

Quite a ways from everything. Restaurant was never open when I was on the property. The building and grounds were lovely. View and sound of waves was wonderful.

The property had no power. They transferred me to a different hotel which was very small, dirty and very unsafe. 2 hotel guests were murdered by the elevators
