Hotel Riu Tequila - All Inclusive

Not a big deal. The food is ok. The drinks are terrible. The room service is good. I have definetly had better and worst times in other resorts.

I went to the main restaurant instead of specialty restaurants, and the food was excellent. Also, beach access is very nice.

Breakfast menu was fresh with more than enough food to chose from... all of the best quality! I had avocado toast on artisan bread, a banana and a green juice. I had an egg white omelette. I had a mimosa handed to me on entry for Sunday brunch. My husband enjoyed chiliquiles, bacon, ham,

This is a beautiful property with so much to do throughout the day. Activities such as volleyball, darts, horseshoes, water polo, aqua gym, stretching, Latin dance lessons, & more continue throughout the day or you can just relax on the lounges & enjoy the sunshine. There are 4 pools, take your pick. Although the beach is not on the property, it is a 7 minute walk through a lovely shaded path or you can be driven there by a golf cart that runs every 10 minutes. The Buffet offers a wonderful variety of food & plenty of fresh fruits & vegetables. There is so much to choose from. There is also an Asian restaurant, Italian & Steak House you can go to without making any reservations. All are delicious. The waiters at all restaurants are very friendly & helpful. You will see Wilbert, one of the head guys at the buffet. We got to know Polo who served us at breakfast. The rooms are spacious, some people say a little dated but were fine for us plus there is a lot of storage. The shows at night are wonderful! The activity folks are amazing working throughout the day & into the night providing exceptional entertainment. They are true professionals. Shout outs to Daniel, Eduardo, Saul, Norbeto, Rafael, Johnny, Nadia & Jacqueline to name a few who helped make our vacation fun, memorable & so enjoyable! You will love the RIU TEQUILLA !!

Restaurants were awful and entertainment started way too late!

Our stay was excellent. Especially our server Raul, he works breakfast and then dinner in the steak house. He was the best and always took care of us. Thanks!

First time at a Riu Resort and i was not disappointed. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. There was plenty of great food to choose from their 5 restaurants, pool bar and 24hr sports bar. This is truly a family friendly resort with lots of scheduled activities throughout the day and themed shows/events nightly. This resort is know for its Friday party's. Great choice and will definitely be returning.

Food was good, staff was friendly. Front desk wasn’t friendly and nice. We had cockroach in first room on the main floor, than we were moved to the other room on the second floor and no cockroach there, but at the end of our stay we were offered to moved to a better room but on the first floor again. We lived on this upgrade room for 5 days with little tenants again. Definitely cockroaches is the issue in this hotel
