Good hotel but furniture needs upgrades

I was given the corner room on the top floor directly above the Pancho Villa Suite. They even let me have a look at the room. My room had two balconies with French doors overlooking the historic centre of Durango. Many famous people have stayed here including John Wayne when he made his movies here. The staff was fabulous and the hotel is like a museum. Fabulous

Great place to stay. Historic hotel. Beautiful with lots of charm and character. Terraces to view the beautiful downtown area. Elevator with an operator. I’m talking charm. If you like historic places this is the place to stay to enjoy the beauty of downtown Durango.

Hermoso! Estilo antiguo.

There is no parking, no gym and no laundry also the elevator is not working 😑 not to safe for people that needs to go to the 3rd floor like us.

Expedía didn’t make the reservation. I had to pay again

The hotel is well located but needs a lot of improvement. its an old building with a lot of charm. The furniture is very outdated. If this property is given an improvement it will be fantastic.The front desk staff not very friendly. Overall I like it. I would stay again is this property

Property is very convinient to attractions and all dining, however its an older property and has no amenities, no dinning inside hotel, no pool, really nothing other than a bed to sleep. I was disappointed as the pictures state other wise. Very friendly and helpful staff.

the property has an excellent location. The staff was very friendly. The hotel does have parking but only from 8pm-8am and then you have to pay a small fee.

The hotel is historic and in a very convenient location to historic landmarks and shopping. We felt safe and overall comfortable. However, the facility is poorly maintained. For example, there was no hot water and when we questioned the lack of hot water they asked that we run the water for about 30 minutes and that did work but it was a waste and inconvenience. Secondly, the room did not have an ironing board but they provided one that was probably a few years old as it was torn and covered with a dirty sheet and was teetering. Staff was great and location awesome, but the facility was less than expected.

Staff were super helpful and professional. Historic hotel is beautiful and located right in the hear of the City Durango.
