We stayed at Hotel Zaci for two nights with our two children. It was clean, the service was friendly and kind, the location was ideal (close to ADO bus station). The children loved swimming in the pool. The Wifi was very good. Only good things to say about this charming hotel.

Hotel Zaci is a gem. So lovely! Comfortable beds, clean and quiet. We were near the zocalo and great restaurants, especially El Atrio. Can't wait to return.

Excellent location with shops nearby. Property has parking and the pool area was nice and clean. Room doesn't include a small refrigerator neither hand towels.

If you reading this review let me strongly suggest - find another hotel!! As the reviews have noted, it’s not worth the headache. Shortly after check in we learned there was NO internet, NO pool, NO drinkable water, and NO hot water! I understand the pool has been closed for a long time. The hotel should have notified us before we arrived. I don’t appreciate being taken advantage of. What good are pictures and hotel information on Orbitz if they are all lies??! Though we paid a hefty amount for this hotel you would think they are scrounging for their last peso. The only two chaise lounges by the closed pool are in desperate need of repair. There is a nice sun deck on the second floor however there is not one chair, table, umbrella, or chaise to be found. There was a water cooler but unfortunately it was broken. The hotel should have left us a ten cent bottle of water in our room since there was no drinkable water. And for Heavens sake leave a hand towel by the sink! Two of the four days there was NO HOT WATER!!! No warm water!!! Just what were we paying for??? It was like staying in an abandoned hotel. Dear Hotel Management - don’t belittle me by offering some kind of lame apology. Apologizing does nothing! You not only cheated my family and I out of money but you really hurt our vacation. You should have been up front with regard to your closed pool and other issues. I can only hope you contact us returning some of our money!!!

Love the location of Hotel Zaci! Easy access to the square, touring, and shopping. Hotel is very clean. Some confusion around breakfast and if they were serving or not.

Gardens and pools and restaurant were nice, they tried to re-create a little piece of jungle on the edge of the city. However, based on the high price of the rooms, we expected luxury accommodations, which it is most definitely NOT. Stick and thatch bungalows provided no barrier from the noisy environment. We didn’t sleep at all because of traffic noises, barking dogs, and loud music all night long. The room are so basic, not even a comfortable chair nor drinking glasses in the room. Very minimal bathrooms. Difficult stairs to upper units. We had booked for two nights, but left after one, because we felt that we literally had been camping….NOT what we had expected. They were adamant about not giving a refund, so we will take it up with credit card company. Their room charges are ridiculous….we paid six times what we paid for any other nice hotel rooms on our trip. Would NOT recommend for older people. Also you can pay a daily fee to use the underground pools, and not have to sleep there.

Pro: location is good, nice open courtyard, wifi, comfortable bed, hot water was ok but not that warm. Con: rooms are dark and noisy, our toilet did not work we had to fill the garbage can with water and pour it into the bowl in order to flush it, the drain pipes in the shower really smelt awful, window open in bathroom for venting that you cannot shut.

This place is very run down and it is dirty. The staff is noisy, yelling all over the place. I found the front desk staff very rude at check-in time when I asked whether I could use the bathroom. Stay clear of this place if you can.

Hotel Zaci was simple but clean and very central to all activities in the city. The parking was private and pool was clean. Would recommend. Cons- The night front desk clerk tried to charge triple the amount and rip is off as well as give us a lower exchange rate until our guide told her no. She was rude.

La ubicación del hotel es muy céntrico y a 5 minutos caminando de la plaza principal de la ciudad. Las habitaciones son cómodas con aire acondicionado y ventilador. Las cámas y colchones cómodos. No ofrecen desayuno y hay un buen estacionamiento gratis en el hotel. Es muy limpio y siempre están haciendo limpieza y el área de la piscina muy acogedor. El único problema es que el personal de la recepción no es muy amigable y no tienen predisposición a ayudar, la actitud del personal es no la mejor. Cuando requieres algo nunca están con ganas de ayudar. De ahi el hotel es muy bonito y lo recomiendo. The hotel is very central and only 5 minutes walking distance to the main square. The rooms are comfortable with air conditioning and fan. Comfortable bedspreads and mattresses. The room was clean. The room was clean and comfortable. My unique complain is y the front desk staff, they are not helpful with the requests and they are not able to do your stancy comfortable, in the other hand The house keeping staff is really nice and helpful.
