Did not like that there was too many mosquitoes. Got bitten way too much.

The only thing was too many mosquitoes. If its possible to spray to eliminate the mosquitoes or have running water all over the property (like in Disney World), it would of been awesome. Everything else was great

I rated all 5 stars for the simple fact that Expedia continued booking despite Sunscape shutting down. However, when we arrived they were able to move us next door to Dreams and our service the entire process and confusion was wonderful.

Loved the location, The beds were comfortable, but the rooms have some underlying conditions. The staff was amazing.

Staffs are very nice. But resort is Hyatt own. Never go to a Hyatt own resort. It’s a snake pit. Worse vacation ever.

When we book the stay we booked as an all Inclusive, yet when we got there there was only 2 restaurants that we could access. The first meal we attempted to get they were out of almost everything. Very little variety. Was told after we checked in that the hotel would be torn down in two week. In order to make the stay enjoyable we had to upgrade to an adjacent hotel for $600. Room was small and Dirty. The mini bar was filled once and we were told that the service was a one time only fill, even though it was and all inclusive.

This was our third time staying at Sunscape. It was noticeable different from the two previous stays.. The rooms were the same as the other times. The beds are a full size, not at all comfortable. Only two restaurants to dine at now. In the past it was three. Both are not always open at the same time. Long wait times for dinner and multiple times ran out of food. It was cold many times coming out or on the buffet. Wait times after ordering were long. Lunch is now a buffet, with cold food on it. Multiple people in our group got the fish at the buffet it was raw. The cheese sauce at lunch was orange water, so runny. There is no longer anyone offering to bring you drinks on the beach. Room refrigerator is only filled on first day now, if at all. We had three rooms only one had been filled. When we asked the front desk they said it is only filled once now. Two rooms had decent ac but the other did not work correctly. Went to front desk multiple times throughout each day. Was finally moved to a new room on the third day of complaining. Beach chairs really need upgraded. Most are broken and not enough of them with guests from Dreams and Secrets having access to them. Our drivers said they were trying to do away with Sunscape and extend the other expensive resorts. The only redeeming quality of this hotel is the beach access. Rooms advertised as beach view and beach front are so close to the ocean.

Dear [Hotel Management/Customer Service], I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Sunscape Sabor to seek resolution regarding several issues I encountered during my visit. Upon checking into my room on the 3rd floor, I found it in unacceptable condition. The door had a significant gap, allowing bugs to enter, and the sheets were covered in hair, suggesting they had not been changed. The bathroom floor was dirty, with dead bugs and grime present. I have attached photos for your reference. After raising these concerns, I was moved to a different room on the 1st floor, which unfortunately did not meet my expectations either. The window did not lock, the temperature was uncomfortably hot, and there was a pervasive musty odor. Consequently, I refused to accept this room. Despite this situation, I was charged $300 to relocate to the Dream Hotel, which was immensely better in terms of quality and cleanliness. The overall experience at Sunscape Sabor has been the worst I have ever encountered at a resort. Additionally, I was disappointed with the food and beverage options. The drinks at the Sunscape café did not meet the expectations of an all-inclusive experience, as they were lacking in alcohol, and the cleanliness of the cups and glasses was questionable. Given the numerous issues and the overall negative experience, I kindly request a partial refund for the amount paid during my stay. I believe this would be a fair resolution considering.

The beach was great for snorkeling. A lot of different juvenile fish.

Staff and facilities are great. Food hit and miss

I loved this resort. Very safe and family friendly.

Great quiet place

The property smelled like sewer. Sinks backed up and doors did not latch. The staff was friendly.

We have stayed here many times but this will probably be our last. At check in we were informed that all of the restaurants were no longer included but we could do a timeshare presentation for an upgrade fee and have access. The pier access has gone from $5 per person per day to $10 per person per day. We had a malfunctioning toilet and fridge. It took 2 requests to get them to come look at them. The fridge was replaced at 11 pm. The toilet was not fixed. The handle had to be jiggled to get it to shut off and it squeels with each flush for 30 seconds. The service at the restaurant very slow and we often did not get a beverage until after our food arrived. Sometimes taking multiple requests or walking over to the bar to get water and a coke Menu selections were limited and some menu selections were not available and it was still early during the meal time. We had one bright light during our stay. Yuriana was amazing. She was very positive with the guests and guinely happy. She met and exceeded our expectations during the 2 meals that she served us. She is truly a bright light.

I come every year for the diving and the Sunscape is not only affordable, its absolutely beautiful.

The food is horrible. They are afraid of seasoning in this resort. Our mini refrigerator was broken our entire stay and we told the front desk and they did not fix it the whole time we were there.
