Riad L'Etoile D'Orient

A beautiful and peaceful Riad with amazing staff. The staff were very attentive and helped ease the shock of our first day in Morocco. They gave us some great advice and directions. We had dinner one night at the Riad. It was amazing food.

Great little boutique hotel in the Medina. It’s located right in the square where all the shops are. The customer service and staff was excellent. The staff really went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable it felt like home. I left one of my bags at the hotel and the driver brought it to the airport for me so I wouldn’t miss my flight. I really appreciated that. The food was good and authentic. I would stay there again.

We've just returned from a fantastic trip to Marrakech, thanks in no small part to the staff at this riad. My friend stayed here a few months ago and recommended it, and I'm so glad he did. It's right in the Medina, and about a two minute walk from the main square (this can be 10-15 minutes if it's busy: think people, buggies, mopeds, carts, kids, all jostling through, to eat, to shop. Great fun). I'd recommend arranging ahead of time for the riad to collect you from the airport. We found our bearings once there but I think it'd have been pretty overwhelming to try on that first day with luggage. The riad itself is beautiful, peaceful and cool, though rooms have climate control so you can adjust the temperature. I did blast a bit of heat in the evening as it was still quite cool. We stayed in two rooms as they 'upgraded' us for four nights while a bigger room was empty. Other reviews have said the mattresses are hard. I'd say firm, rather than hard. Perfectly comfortable, in both rooms (Dana and Giana). Dana was much smaller but beautiful. Giana was much more comfortable as it was more spacious, but no better quality as both were wonderful. My other half thought Giana was noisier as closer to the thoroughfare but that was nothing earplugs didn't fix. You'll hear the call to prayer too but again, you don't come to Marrakech for peace and quiet. Both rooms had international television channels though the reception was hit and miss. Very kind and attentive staff!

Quiet, clean, beautiful. Staff are incredible. They gave us a wonderful welcome, were very friendly faces throughout our stay and gave us our breakfast in to go containers when they heard we had an early day at Ait Ben Haddou the next day. We felt we could come to the desk with any and every question! Our room was also perfect: beautifully decorated, great amenities, pristine and peaceful. They also have a cat called Mimi! Overall, 10. I can't praise this place enough - there was nothing needing improvement.

This riad was wonderful, situated in the Marrakech Medina. Close to all the action, but inside the space is quiet and relaxing, with a charming courtyard and rooftop restaurant. Ismail, Azedine, and Ayman were all so kind and thoughtful, the perfect hosts.

Difficult to fine, no taxi service to lobby. Construction site near by, long walk through bustling and narrow walkway to entrance of property

The staff was superb and the facility was clean.

Everyone was wonderful, the accommodated my needs as a single traveler and above all I felt safe and secure at this place. Whoever cleaned my room took care of my things.

I think the property on Expedia is misleading. It’s not clear when booking that this property is 3 different Riads. I did try to speak to someone on the day we arrived as we were expecting the beautiful jacuzzi, however the jacuzzi we had was old and hidden away on the rooftop. Not happy with it at all so spent money at another hotel for the day. I hope you can appreciate this. Maybe some compensation would be appreciated. I look forward to hearing g from you.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, the staff and the cook made us feel so welcome. Everyone was kind, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. My whole family loved every single one of them. The place was spotlessly clean, beautiful, and felt incredibly safe — which made our time there even more relaxing and enjoyable. We truly appreciated the care and effort that went into making our stay special. Highly recommended, and we can’t wait to come back!

The staff was super friendly and kind! They sat us down and drew out a map for us, helped us set up excursions and ensured we had a lovely stay! The riad was clean, safe, and gorgeous. Loved the breakfast on the rooftop! Would highly recommend:)

Séjour vraiment extraordinaire. Le riad est vraiment magnifique et confortable. La situation géographique est exceptionnel au centre de tout et vraiment près de la pla Jamaa El Elena. Le personnel est toujours présent et disponible 24 heures par jour. Hamou et Taha sont excellent et offre un service de très haute qualité et personnalisé. Déjeuner très copieux et varié. Je recommande le repas du soir à 20 euros seulement servi parfaitement et excellent. Bravo à toute l équipe. Les chambres sont très belles et très spacieuses merci.
