My experience with this place was unequivocally negative and shows exactly how guest service should not look. During my stay, my car window was smashed on the hotel’s paid parking lot, and items were stolen from the vehicle. In such a situation, I expected at least a basic level of support and engagement. Instead, I was met with indifference, a lack of empathy, and a clear unwillingness to help from the staff, while the owner’s attitude was arrogant and highly unprofessional. Any attempts to obtain information or real assistance ended in being dismissed and having responsibility shifted elsewhere. The rooms themselves also leave much to be desired — they are not modern, clearly past their prime, and the overall standard does not correspond to either the price or the level the hotel claims to offer. If you value safety, basic customer service, and fair treatment in difficult situations, you should avoid this hotel altogether. I strongly and without hesitation advise against staying here under any circumstances.

Great hotel. Was only there for a couple of days so didn’t use any of the self catering aspect of the facilities however these looked complete. I arrived a little later than expected around 2130 and then reception were very helpful. The room was very nice and comfortable with great views over the canal. The bathroom whilst a little small had one of the best hotel showers I’ve ever used. The restaurant and bar downstairs is very nice and the staff down there were excellent too.

Very functional kitchen with all the amenities you could hope for and a nice comfortable bed. Hotel staff are responsive to requests through WhatsApp. The main reason I took off a star is for the very tiny bathroom and shower. I wish they had made these bigger even if the rest of the room was then smaller. The bidet was also not very useful because of the angle it sprayed.

Friendly helpful staff! Good recommendations! Due to a delay of my flight I had to call them from the airport to let them know I'll be late and so the front desk was available after hours. Very much appreciated!

Perfect business / academic accommodation in Utrecht - Wonderful staff and facilities. Only took me 2 days to work out the De Blend wasn’t referring to the convergence of 2 kanaals …. It was the DE Coffee!!!! 🙄

Great place to stay in the area, near Pathe cinema and many shopping options over the bridge. Cycle into the city center is very convenient.

Good place to stay in Utrecht. It was an office building converted to apartments and bathrooms are not comfortable. If you are a big person you have to squeeze yourself to fit in the toilet. Also the location is decent but a little bit apart from city center but if you can ride a bike is no problem, they have them available (for a fee). If you stay there there's a coffee in front of it between the two canals called Soia that is very nice

Room was very clean and everything was working. Kitchen and refrigerator were a great thing to have. Staff at reception was very helpful when I was needing attention. My work brought me to this area of Utrecht so was great to find this place to stay.

Well equipped apartment, very quiet in the hotel. Friendly staff.

The hotel was very well appointed, lovely smart rooms with a great view of the canal. Staff were friendly and efficient. I stayed three nights whilst working in the city and for that purpose it was amazing value. Cycle links to the centre are very easy and it took me 10 minutes to pedal to the city centre. Highly recoomend for work or holiday.

Very friendly and able young team. Room was nice and to a good standard. Associated restaurant and team were very good. Nice walk to city centre along the canal if you like 30 minute walk.

The people at the front desk were helpful and friendly; check-in was a breeze. I liked that the room I had was a studio apartment. However, the kitchen could be equipped with basic condiments like salt, pepper and cooking oil. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and I slept well. The hotel is a 35-40min walk from the train station, but you could take buses also.

The appartment was really big, spacious and 3 out of 4 walls were in windows, which made rhe room opened, bright. But had curtains to close at night. A small kitchen was also nice, just enough to use for basic dinner. Loved it.

The room was tired and although it was supposed to be self checked in i couldn’t do it as it was only until 10pm..

I am not really satisfied with the service I received. The hotel doesn't change on a daily basis your bedsheets and they only clean your room every fourth day just when I booked only for 3 nights!!! Airconditioning was not blowing fully cold air and didn't make any difference in terms of the room temperature as during my stay was very hot outside between 24th of June and 27th of June. On my second day, the alarm went off in the building and the hotel failed to notify us what was going on so expect absolutely a lack of communication from them. Also, the hotel doesn't have normal TV channels available if you want to watch Dutch channels or international channels like CNN, BBC News or Discovery channel but instead you're expected to use Youtube or Netflix as the alternative. There is no reception available downstairs as you will need to use self-service when checking in and my experience was not that great at all because the system simply couldn't find me in the beginning, so you will have to call someone from the hotel who will come down to sort this out which in effect only adds more unnecessary waiting time. So if I have to give a rating I rate this hotel a solid 2 stars and would I come back again to this hotel? I highly doubt it!

Clean, comfortable and good enough value by the side of a pretty canal in an industrial estate. Self service check in. No staff at a reception although there is a number you can call for assistance. Accomodation includes a little kitchen with a fridge and also a tv although we could not get the tv to work despite numerous attempts. Location - 40 minutes walk to the old town though there is a bus lane 10 minutes walk away. When we stayed the resteraunt was being renovated and disappointingly there were no nearby shops or cafes. Make sure you bring something to eat and drink to save walking back in the direction you just travelled.

Stay here every year when we visit family. Love the location and staff are top notch.
