Mercure Hotel Zwolle

Lovely hotel with very helpful staff. Breakfast was amazing too. Highly recommend.

Room mattress and pillows are not comfortable at all .they should be replaced Connecting two single beds to make them one bed is not comfortable. Location of this hotel is only good for someone who has a car.

I had a two night stay at the Mercure City Zwolle Hotel in August 2025. The surrounding exterior of the hotel is quite stunning, with green fields and gorgeous views. Inside, the hotel lobby is a bit dated, and the standard rooms are significantly smaller than a traditional size hotel room. The bathroom in my unit appeared to have been recently remodeled, but was quite small, and the shower head was not functioning properly due to a broken hand shower slide rail. An small interesting surprise was the pull chain light fixture in the bathroom straight out of the 1920's. Strange. My second night was difficult as the hotel had lost all water service, so there were no showers, toilets, or sinks available, and no coffee in the restaurant - as a result had to attend a business meeting without showering before I had to check out of the hotel. Hotel management said the water issue was out of their control, as the city had a water line break outside the property. Staff were very nice and attentive throughout my stay, with a positive attitude. I did visit the hotel restaurant for breakfast twice during my stay, and the food was basic and serviceable, with your basic English breakfast items on the self serve menu. Overall, it you are visiting Zwolle, the Mercure Hotel is one of those places that you stay at basically just for sleeping - it is not a resort style property when you can be comfortable hanging out, due to lack of amenities and very small rooms.

Clean, modern, quiet.

The hotel was just outside of the city. It is too far to walk so you will have to take the car to go into the centre. Rooms are not big.

it's a nice hotel, but in a very remote place. I enjoyed it, but it's something to consider if you're not coming with a car.

Good price. Clean room. Tiny room though. I guess thats the norm in Europe. Good breakfast. Not really close to town but quick cab or bike ride.

This hotel is out of the centre of Zwolle, but a short 2km away. The property is along side a beautiful meadow, quiet. The staff are very accommodating and offered great breakfast.Would stay again.

For 20 euro the breakfast was appalling no bar open at night just not what we was use to at the mercure

Good location and value. Staff were not as friendly as expected. "Queen" bed was actually 2 single mattresses put together which made for tough sleeping

Nice hotel on the outskirts of town. Parking is free when you stay there. Good restaurant with decent dinner options and good breakfast.

The property was very nice. The rooms were small but neat. Very clean. The breakfast was large the. The hotel is out of town away from anything. There was a consistent buzzing in our room every 24 seconds all evening and morning. We could not locate the source.

Everything they have is very expensive, problems with the wireless internet, the delay in returning the clothes for washing, and they made me pay another amount that I had already paid at the time of booking when I wanted to go home

Parkeren is eenvoudig voor de deur. Hotel is sober en de prijs/kwaliteit is scheef. Geen 4 sterren waardig.

Very good. To me, the brand Mercure stands for good quality and reasonable prices, and this hotel was just that. Good staff. Good quality room and food. WiFi fast enough for me. Slept well. Felt secure and comfortable. Breakfast good. Not happy about paying for parking, but hey. I'd stay again. Well done!
