Lovely hotel with very helpful staff. Breakfast was amazing too. Highly recommend.

Room mattress and pillows are not comfortable at all .they should be replaced Connecting two single beds to make them one bed is not comfortable. Location of this hotel is only good for someone who has a car.

Schönes Hotel in ruhiger Lage. Relativ weit entfernt vom Stadtkern. Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

I had a two night stay at the Mercure City Zwolle Hotel in August 2025. The surrounding exterior of the hotel is quite stunning, with green fields and gorgeous views. Inside, the hotel lobby is a bit dated, and the standard rooms are significantly smaller than a traditional size hotel room. The bathroom in my unit appeared to have been recently remodeled, but was quite small, and the shower head was not functioning properly due to a broken hand shower slide rail. An small interesting surprise was the pull chain light fixture in the bathroom straight out of the 1920's. Strange. My second night was difficult as the hotel had lost all water service, so there were no showers, toilets, or sinks available, and no coffee in the restaurant - as a result had to attend a business meeting without showering before I had to check out of the hotel. Hotel management said the water issue was out of their control, as the city had a water line break outside the property. Staff were very nice and attentive throughout my stay, with a positive attitude. I did visit the hotel restaurant for breakfast twice during my stay, and the food was basic and serviceable, with your basic English breakfast items on the self serve menu. Overall, it you are visiting Zwolle, the Mercure Hotel is one of those places that you stay at basically just for sleeping - it is not a resort style property when you can be comfortable hanging out, due to lack of amenities and very small rooms.

Ruhig gelegenes Hotel unweit von Zwolle, etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Parkplätze ausreichend vorhanden. Toll war der Verleih von E-Bikes!

Clean, modern, quiet.

The hotel was just outside of the city. It is too far to walk so you will have to take the car to go into the centre. Rooms are not big.

Service og renhold var helt topp. Vi leide også sykler igjennom hotelet, helt topp. Frokostene var utmerket.

Hotel smelt of smoke so badly you couldn’t breathe, so we had to check out and find alternative accommodation a few days before Christmas. The previous guests had even gone as far as covering the smoke alarm with a shower cap to ensure our smoking experience was ensured. Hotel were completely in denial, must be the only nose less room cleaner in Holland.

it's a nice hotel, but in a very remote place. I enjoyed it, but it's something to consider if you're not coming with a car.

Grote kamer. Mooie badkamer. Weinig verlichting in kamer. Geen stopcontact langs bed. Mooi uitzicht. Goed restaurant. Vriendelijke bediening

Vergane glorie. Wij hadden een superior, gedateerd, verschrikkelijke bedden. Stekkerbox kapot, 1 bedlamp hing los, de andere werkte niet. Van de stalamp was de stekker kapot en de pin ervan zat nog in het stopcontact waardoor ook dat stopcontact onbruikbaar was. De omgeving ook niets. Kamer was wel schoon en personeel erg vriendelijk maar het was de 135 euro absoluut niet waard. Ik voel me flink bekocht, zeker voor een 4 sterren Mercure

Good price. Clean room. Tiny room though. I guess thats the norm in Europe. Good breakfast. Not really close to town but quick cab or bike ride.

Vriendelijke medewerkers, prima kamers, uitstekend ontbijt. Rookzones zouden beter wat verder van de ingang en het hotel zijn.
