Ozo Hotels Cordial Amsterdam

Hotel was not cleaned. First they gave me a room which seems like a washroom. The WC wasn't clean. Water stuck in synk. So, I changed the room but that wasn't ready. No glass, no water, no privacy, very bad experience we had in hotel. Not recommended.

Picture of room on website is not accurate, the room is much smaller. The elevator was broken the entire stay (4 nights). The carpet is filthy dirty. The drapes in the room had mold because the window leaks water every morning. Website says it’s a non-smoking hotel and there are signs that say “No smoking” but there was a constant smell of cigarettes and marijuana in the hallways. Location was convenient but not a big enough positive to choose to stay here again. I can not recommend this hotel.

Great location, good room and perfect customer service specially older gentleman working in the reception helped us issue we had in our room welcomed us very well

Housekeeping staff was friendly and their daily service was much appreciated. The hotel was no frills but tidy and quieter than I expected for the location. The location was superb! Great value all around.

The room was not like the pictures upon our arrival. It was full of mould so we left straight away and went and booked another hotel. I would like to get my money back.

I have now stayed here twice due to location .The rooms are basic but clean. Bathrooms are modern and clean .staff are friendly and helpful i had an issue with the mattress and it was resolved straight away .My only criticism is i wish there was a kettle in the room as i like a morning evening drink .There is a machine downstairs where you can purchase drinks though .I will return .

Nothing fancy, however brilliant location, friendly staff, nice shower. Was exactly what we needed for our short break. To improve, a bigger bed with a kettle etc in room would have been nice. Overall we were happy:)

Good location. Small room, couldnt open bathroom door as bed was in the way, otherwise no complaints. Would stay again if travelling alone

No one spoke English so it was hard to communicate. No such thing as face clothes or bath mats at this hotel. Location was convenient. Not the cleanest.

I would have skipped this hotel had I known what I was getting when I booked it. In my room I found someone else’s socks that had been left and the place did not feel like it was very clean. The carpets had stains through the property, there were doors with broken glass half bolted shut and an elevator with busted hand rails. Found all the “fresh” on the floor for the next day, gross. There are 100’s of hotels here and I would go elsewhere.

The room was most like a Prison cell, very dirty bathroom, the room safe had been smashed open and was obviously not working, the room was so small the bathroom did not have enough space to open against the bed. The window was locked shut and the handle snapped off, also very dirty. I read a couple of the revues and thought it couldn't have been that bad, it was worse.

Old hotel, weird room with steps to climb up from the door to the room level, bad bathroom, I would not stay there again.

It was not worth it but The location is great tho

It is good to stay in the centre.the tram and metro station in front of the hotel. Good for shopping and resturants options.

We originally booked this hotel for 4 nights, excited for our first visit to Amsterdam. Unfortunately, what we experienced was the opposite of what was advertised. Upon arrival, our room looked nothing like the photos — it was filthy, run-down, and completely misrepresented. We found bugs, stains, and mold throughout the room. We immediately went to the front desk to complain and request a refund. The staff told us there was “nothing they could do” but offered to “upgrade” us to a different room instead. Sadly, the second room had the same issues, which we documented with photos and videos. Because it was too late to find another place to stay, we had no choice but to remain for one night — but we could not sleep because of how disgusting and unsanitary everything was. When we complained again, we were told, shockingly, that “no one receives refunds, not even if someone dies in the hotel.” This was extremely disturbing and unprofessional. As of now, we still have not received any refund or compensation despite the blatant false advertising. This was hands-down one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Do NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel room was spacious enough for two. We would have preferred more towels and pillows but aside from that it was very nice. It’s pretty central so close to a lot of things we wanted to do/see. The only negative would be when I asked someone at the front desk for help booking Van Gogh tickets he was very dismissive, saying that despite time-slots being available online there would be none at such short notice, he even said he checked and that he was correct. Luckily I sought advice from people online and we did manage to book same day tickets without his help.
