Great location in Oslo city, beside Oslo Central train station. Perfect for exploring Oslo.

The hotel was refurbishing their lift but did not make this known to me either prior to arrival or upon check-in. When I went to my room I found I had to carry very heavy luggage downstairs (and up again on departure) and did not have anyone with me to help. I was returning to the hotel the following weekend so asked for a room that didn't require me to use the stairs but was told it wasn't possible unless I paid a considerable amount of money to upgrade my room. I feel the hotel should have made it clear that the lift was not working and could have done more to try and allocate a more convenient room on my return.

Hotel was so convenient for the train station and my ongoing travel plans; the rooms were a little dark but the bathroom was large and bright with lovely spacious shower; bathroom light is on a sensor and mine took ages to go off in the night which was a little annoying; lift was out of order due to hotel renovations during our stay and had to carry heavy luggage up two staircases which was not ideal. I felt we should have been notified of this prior to our stay as there was no offer of assistance and unable to change rooms unless we paid for an upgrade. I

Clean hotel, good breakfast selection and a great location.

The room was spacious and clean. The hotel staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast had lots of different options to help yourself to. The only thing I disliked was the automatic bathroom light which was blinding in the middle of the night. It would be good to be able to turn the sensor off at night - or have a ‘night’ setting with much dimmer lights.

Good basic room, no frills.

Small rooms but clean and everything you could want. Such a convenient place to stay- staff were lovely and the breakfast was excellent! Would recommend to stay

Good hotel, very well located (right next to the train station) with an excellent breakfast. Only negatives were no tea or coffee facilities in the room, and an AC system that made a lot of noise but didn't seem to respond to the thermostat. It was a very hot room despite the outside cold temperatures.

Lean

I HATED that the bathroom lights were unable to be turned off. My eyes are rather sensitive and a couple of trips to the toilet in the night burnt the back of my retinas. We had to turn the power off, and use a torch. That meant we couldn't charge our phones overnight, so that was a problem. There were very few hooks etc in the bathroom, nowhere to put things in the shower. The towels had to hang above the toilet to dry. Needs more thought when designing. The chairs in the 2 rooms we had were obviously for style and not comfort- they were all horribly uncomfortable. Nowhere to put your clothes overnight if you were on the right side of the bed, they had to be left near the door. The seating in the bar/lounge was very uncomfortable too- few back rests and they were more like beds than chairs. Breakfast was all down a deep step, and I couldn't get to the food with mobility issues. No handrails, no slope. Very, very poor

We are happy with our room, clean, comfortable bed. The staff were all nice and very helpful. Specially the morning staff attending breakfast, the whole team were very nice, though they were so busy doing their job. Special mention to Marecel, thank you for making our stay in the hotel a memorable one. We will stay here again.
