They even gave us complimentary cake when I asked if they sell cakes for the birthday of my companion. When I was about to pay, the staff said it's for free even though I know they bought it outside. They never fail to smile and greet us while walking around the hotel. Truly a warm and caring group of people you have. Hope to see you all again.

Very good 3.5 star hotel! The staff is super accommodating and friendly, specially Leonel! Breakfast is plenty of options and served in your room, swimming pool or at their beach bar with a great view! The hotel is quite quiet and the rooms are big and very well cleaned/maintained. You get a welcome drink on arrival and you immediately realize you're gonna be treated well. Decent swimming pool and chill area where you can have a drink too. Situated on the main road but just in front of the beach (10 meters) The area is fairly close to the D'mall and the mess but still far enough to not be bother with noise and traffic so we easily walked everyday there and back twice, sometimes on the beach, sometimes on the main road with no problems (Max 10 minutes).

Your Travel Guide to Boracay Island as a Filipino Traveler

Reaching the pristine shores of Boracay Island is a journey many Filipinos look forward to, and it's made accessible through various transport hubs. From Manila, the most common route is to book flight tickets to either Caticlan Airport (MPH) or Kalibo International Airport (KLO). Flights to Caticlan are shorter, typically around 1 hour and 15 minutes, and the airport is just a short tricycle ride away from the Caticlan Jetty Port.

Flights to Kalibo take about 1 hour and 20 minutes, but the subsequent land transfer to Caticlan Jetty Port takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours by bus or van. Fares from Manila can range from PHP 2,500 to PHP 6,000 or more, depending on the airline and booking time.

For travelers coming from Cebu or Davao, direct flights to Caticlan or Kalibo are also available, though they might be less frequent than those from Manila. The flight duration is similar, around 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes. Alternatively, for those who prefer a more extended overland journey or are looking for budget-friendly options, bus travel is an option, though significantly longer.

Buses from Manila to Caticlan terminal typically take 10 to 12 hours, with fares ranging from PHP 800 to PHP 1,500 for a one-way ticket. This option is best suited for travelers with ample time and a desire to see more of the country en route.

Once you reach the Caticlan Jetty Port, you will purchase terminal and environmental fees, along with your boat ticket, for the short sea crossing to Boracay Island. The boat ride itself takes about 15 minutes. Upon arrival at Boracay's Cagban Port, you'll take a tricycle to your accommodation, such as Boracay Beach Club. The tricycle fare within Boracay is generally affordable, with standard rates for specific routes.

Planning your transfers in advance, especially during peak travel seasons, can help ensure a smoother and more enjoyable arrival experience.

Best Time to Visit Boracay Island

Boracay Island experiences two main seasons: the dry season (Amihan) and the wet season (Habagat). The dry season typically runs from November to May, characterized by calmer seas, less rainfall, and gentle northeast winds. This period is considered the peak tourist season, with December to February being the coolest months. The weather during these months is generally sunny and pleasant, making it ideal for beach activities, water sports, and simply enjoying the island's natural beauty.

If you prefer optimal beach weather and a lively atmosphere, visiting during the dry season is highly recommended.

The wet season, from June to October, is influenced by the southwest monsoon, bringing stronger winds, higher chances of rain, and rougher seas. While this period might see fewer crowds and potentially lower accommodation prices, it can also mean disruptions to some outdoor activities and boat trips. However, even during the wet season, Boracay can still be enjoyable, with sunny spells often interspersed with rain showers.

For travelers seeking a more tranquil experience and potentially better deals on flights and accommodation, the shoulder months of the wet season, like June or October, can offer a good balance.

For most Filipino travelers who want to experience Boracay Island at its best, the period from November to April offers the most reliable weather for enjoying the beaches and water activities. This is when the famous White Beach is at its most inviting, with clear blue waters and soft sand. While it is the peak season, meaning more visitors and potentially higher prices, the consistent sunshine and calm seas make it the prime time for a characteristic Boracay vacation.

Planning your trip during these months will likely provide the most idyllic island experience.

The Philippines is an archipelago brimming with diverse destinations, and Traveloka provides an extensive network of accommodations to connect these dots. If you're captivated by the island life of Boracay, you might also be interested in exploring the diving spots of Palawan, the historical sites of Iloilo, or the surfing beaches of Siargao.

Traveloka's vast inventory spans across these regions and more, offering a comprehensive selection of hotels, resorts, and guesthouses. This allows you to easily plan multi-destination trips or discover new favorites within the country.

Finding a cheap hotel or a comfortable mid-range option is made simpler with Traveloka's user-friendly interface and detailed filters. You can sort accommodations by price, star rating, guest reviews, and specific amenities, ensuring you find a place that perfectly matches your requirements and budget. This is particularly helpful when planning a trip to popular destinations like Boracay, where a wide range of options exists.

By leveraging Traveloka's extensive listings, you can confidently book your accommodation, knowing you've explored a broad spectrum of choices available in your chosen destination and its surrounding areas.

The platform's commitment to providing a wide array of choices extends beyond just the Philippines. If your travel aspirations reach further, Traveloka also offers a global selection of hotels, making it a one-stop shop for all your accommodation needs.

Whether you're planning a local getaway or an international adventure, you can rely on Traveloka to present a diverse range of options, from budget-friendly hostels to luxurious resorts, ensuring that every traveler can find a suitable place to stay, no matter their destination or budget.

Flexible Payment Options Made for Filipinos

The cost of traveling to a destination like Boracay Island can add up, encompassing flights, accommodation, activities, and dining. Traveloka understands this and offers a suite of flexible payment options designed to make these trips more manageable for Filipino travelers. For those who prefer to manage their budget over time, Traveloka PayLater provides a convenient way to book now and pay later, allowing you to secure your accommodation and flights without immediate financial strain.

This is especially useful for planning trips during peak seasons when advance booking is recommended.

In addition to PayLater, Traveloka integrates popular local payment methods such as GCash and Maya. These e-wallets are widely used in the Philippines, offering a secure and convenient way to complete transactions directly through the app or website. For travelers who prefer traditional banking methods, options like credit/debit card payments and direct bank transfers are also readily available.

This multi-faceted approach to payments ensures that whether you are tech-savvy or prefer conventional methods, you can easily book your stay at Boracay Beach Club or any other accommodation with confidence and ease.

This commitment to payment flexibility is crucial for making travel accessible to a broader segment of the Filipino population. By accommodating various payment preferences and offering installment options, Traveloka empowers more individuals and families to explore the beautiful destinations the Philippines has to offer, including the world-renowned Boracay Island. It removes potential financial barriers, allowing more people to create cherished travel memories.

Earn Rewards Every Time You Book

Every booking made through Traveloka contributes to your growing balance of Traveloka Points, a loyalty program designed to reward frequent travelers. When you book your stay at Boracay Beach Club, or any other hotel or flight on the platform, you automatically earn points based on the transaction value. These points are not just abstract numbers; they represent tangible savings on future travel.

This rewards system transforms your regular travel expenses into opportunities for more adventures, making each trip more economical in the long run.

The value of Traveloka Points becomes particularly apparent when planning subsequent trips. For instance, the points accumulated from booking your Boracay vacation can be redeemed to offset the cost of your next flight booking, perhaps to explore another island or a different region of the Philippines. This creates a continuous cycle of travel and savings, encouraging you to explore more of what the country has to offer.

It’s a smart way to make your travel budget stretch further, allowing you to experience more destinations without necessarily increasing your overall spending.

This loyalty program is evidence of Traveloka's dedication to providing added value to its users. It’s more than just a booking platform; it’s a travel companion that helps you save money and rewards your wanderlust.

Wasn't Sure about this place when I booked the first 2 nights online before I got there. Needless to say I stayed two more nights because the professionalism and friendliness of this entire staff. I felt safe and like part of a family ( i went to Boracay alone) but felt I had a new family with me the whole time. Rooms weren't brand new but close and exceptionally clean. I WILL GO BACK

Stayed for 4 nights & was pleasantly surprised. Location & customer service were the best perks of my stay :) Ariel’s house was definitely a gem & I enjoyed having breakfast by the beach every morning :) Hotel & Restaurant personnel were very helpful & greeted me everytime i saw them & i always felt safe & taken care of also. I was working for the first 1-2 days though, so the only improvement that i would suggest would be the weak wifi access & it was a hassle having to login every 20-30 mins (i did try another accommodation where the wifi was alot better though). Besides that, everything else was great. When i come back to Boracay, i would consider coming back to BBC.. prob just bring your own portable wifi device ;) Ariel’s point is a must try also!

When we booked the hotel we thought it is beachfront. You actually have to cross the road to get there. Not too bad but it does not give the same feel. If you are going there, ask for the lower floor as they have no elevator, not so good if you have big luggages or if you have problems climbing steps...lots of them.
