Although room is big and interiors are still ok, most of facilities including shower in the CR must be fixed. It's old and need a lot of maintenance. The small pool can no longer be used
- Romantic Vacation
While I enjoyed the breakfast and the very accommodating staff. I think the place needs some renovations. The lounge were too rustic. Plus they're playing old classic Spanish song that makes the ambiance creepy in some way. The billiard, on the other hand, is commendable. My boyfriend and I enjoyed it.
- Family vacation
The place and service is okay. The crew is very accomodating. The lobby is entertaining since they place italian songs and have a pool. you can also do pre-historic pictures since the lobby is surrounded by artifacts from all over the world. However, I suggest to do more maintenance since the place is old and the garden is not so well maintained. Despite the things this place lacks, it is still great to stay at specually if you want some serinity and enjoy nature while sipping a cup of coffee.
- Backpacking
It was a good experience indeed. Travelling back in time, with a Spanish style ambiance. I just don't like the bathroom but the rest is so cool.
- Romantic Vacation
The hotel needs a maintenance. Very far from what is expected. No any amenities
- Romantic Vacation
Twas a great experience... Very relaxing.. Uncrowded place.. Will surely comeback..
- Backpacking
Check in was fast, and the caretaker was helpful. However, the property is a bit outdated and not maintained well. Breakfast was ok.
- Family vacation
I love the place... it has a Spanish feel to it and old style theme... art works, antiques, collectors items are all over the place. The place has a spacious garden where you could just relax and breathe. My kids and I enjoyed our stay.
- Romantic Vacation
At first, i called them to inquire hows the weather in tagaytay because we are on a motorcycle ride and they replied that the weather was ok. So we decided to go since weather in makati was ok. Once we reached Tagaytay, the rain never stopped but we proceed togo to Casa de Carlo. When we arrived to the venue, the restaurant place was so dark (creepy !!) and the entrance was wet. (no picture attached cause i'm not in the mood to take pictures anymore). Then their staff approached me and lead us to our room. As expected from their pictures it was totally different and it add more disappointment to us. we have no choice but to stay because of the bad weather. We take a rest for a while and then boom! black out! no power! No generator. We decided to play billiards instead of locking ourselves in our room. I'll just give credit to Ate Ningning despite of the our bad experience of Casa she accommodated us well. They need to renovate the whole place .
- Family vacation
The pictures posted was taken maybe more than 10 years! I think the place is not healthy for living! Ants all over the place, molds on the furniture, walls, beds, everywhere. My nephews had rashes all over his arms. Faucets and sink not functioning, no well maintained place. We were supposed to stay for 3 days but decided to shorten it. The place needs a total renovation! Not value for money 👎
