Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Room is clean. Location very good because major areas like cathedral, sm, market and Burnham park can be accessed by just walking. Can be recommended to friends and family

Breakfast not so great, wifi not working in rooms, very slow in lobby. No proper ventilation in rooms, especially in the left side of the building. Also noisy from the bar in the next building up to late at night. Rooms not ready when checking in at 5pm.

Very disappointed with this hotel. The room is clean and newly renovated but the problem is that they don't have aircon which wasn't indicated on their online postings. The room has a ceiling fan but very slow and can barely produce air. We wanted to keep the windows open but there is literally a building in front of the window. Others can easily jump and get inside our room which is very scary. The room also doesn't have heaters and bidet. Also, the wifi is very slow. The only good thing is the location and the taste of the food from the breakfast buffet. I would not want to stay here again.

2 night stay at CityLight Hotel Pros: * Building looks new and spacious. * Near some restaurants. * Security Guard on duty was very courteous. He hailed a cab for us. Cons: * Front desk receptionist on duty took a lot of time to check if our room “was ready”. We checked in at exactly 2PM and was able to go up to our room at 2:30PM. * Same receptionist did not even bother to ask if we had heavy luggage-which we did. They had bus boys roaming around, looking at us. I was carrying two heavy bags, and my son, while my fiancé was carrying three heavy bags. None offered any assistance, so I decided to not ask for help anyway. It’s a part of their job to help guests carry luggages, but it seemed like they didn’t want to help, so why bother asking for help? Do they cost extra charge? * Toiletries given were incomplete. I booked for 2 adults and 1 kid, but there was only one big towel, and several tiny ones. Did they expect us to share? Same goes with the room slippers. They gave one set of room slippers. Again- did they expect us to share?? * Bed was hard. It’s like laying down on a thin piece of foam with big springs underneath it. * The room I booked claimed to be “newly renovated” but the wall paint was tearing off. * The rooms are no where near sound proof. You can hear everything that’s happening in your surroundings! Even the sound of people passing by. What made this room the worst was that it was near a freaking construction site. We were supposed to rest before hitting the city, but that didn’t happen. A head’s up from the receptionist that the room that was booked for us was near a construction site would’ve been a nice gesture! * Cellphone signal here su***. * They have free Wi-Fi. But no one provided the password. Should your guests ask everything from this hotel? I mean, if it’s a part of the package deal, it should be presented to us upon checking in. For the price this hotel charges, you could find ones which are cheaper with better experiences. I should’ve booked earlier when the hotel that I wanted still had available rooms. I would not recommend this hotel. Sorry, not sorry.

Actually, it’s ok, although it would have been nice to indicate which floor is the room located. The room is at the basement which if I only knew, I would have changed my mind in booking it and chose a different hotel intead.
