This was my 3rd time staying at Dees and I was finally able to reserve a room that was not the dorm. Overall, it was well maintained (except for the shower, which had been experiencing issues with the pressure but still usable). I was just a bit confused when on my 2nd day, Angel, the usual caretaker of the guesthouse was suddenly replaced. Although I couldn’t communicate with the new guy very well, he was still polite. I’m just not sure he understood me. I wanted to ask him if I could get a refund on my last night since I was leaving a day earlier than expected. I know that despite it being paid for, they will still give it to another guest and still charge them. For me the place is very convenient since it is near the airport.

The room has a bad smell. Comforter, bedsheets, pillows smells bad.It looks like they didn't change it. Though, the location and staff are good.

Romantic Vacation
the room that we book was not the one we use to stay. when we check in. instead of private room for two, we sleep in a bunk bed together with other. the room was hot and the AC was not cold.

The location is very far from the airport. It is very difficult to find where the location is and it takes more than an hour before we found it..

Dee Guesthouse is a modest property located along Helenville Road in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. The property is conveniently located near Cebu’s commercial district, and presents guests the perfect opportunity to visit Cebu, while not having to pay high rates.
Dee Guesthouse has a total of three different room types available for rent: the Small Double Room, the Standard Double Room, and the Dormitory Room. Rooms are between eight and 15 square meters in size. Each room is fully furnished with amenities such as an air conditioning unit, a refrigerator, a complete set of linens, and complimentary slippers. Select rooms include additional amenities such as a flat-screen television with cable channels, a safety deposit box, an alarm clock, and an electric kettle. The en suite bathroom comes with a full set of toiletries, a hair dryer, and a shower with adjustable water temperature. Daily housekeeping is provided for all rooms. Daily breakfast can be requested. WiFi is accessible in all rooms and public areas within the hotel, and comes free of cost.
A number of dining options can be found within close proximity of the hotel such as CookPub - Modern Korean Bistro and Bar which is 2.9 kilometers from the property, and Azure Beach Club which is 3.9 kilometers away.
Guests can make use of the shared kitchen for any of their cooking needs. Dee Guesthouse offers a number of conveniences such as laundry and dry cleaning services, luggage storage, and safety deposit boxes. Several leisure activities are also offered such as spa and massage services, canoeing, diving, snorkeling, and horseback riding.
Travelers coming from the Mactan-Cebu International Airport will have to take a 19-minute car ride to reach Dee Guesthouse.
