Found insects and their eggs under the bed. Hot water takes ages to load. Floors were sticky. Overall, there should be better hotels at the price point.

Good location but charged for almost the most nonsensical items
We booked a family room which comes with a queen size, a single bed and sofa for 1 week. The room was spacious but after entering we noticed small cockroaches crawling around. Being in a foreign country we accepted the small and minor flaw as it was only for the first that night the bugs were seen crawling around. A few minor set backs we noticed that it was pretty absurd that they would charge us extra for pillows as only 3 pillows were provided (who sleeps on only one pillow, taking into consideration that the pillows were thin). As it was a pretty small sum, we agreed and paid for the extra pillows. Following that, as the room was able to accommodate 4 people, one of us slept on the sofa and when we requested for additional blankets, we were also charged for it. All those aside, exchanging of towels to fresh ones were also an issue as we were only allowed to exchange 2 towels and we had to pay for the remaining towels if we wanted it. We got upset and went to the receptionist counter and spoke to a male reception who apologised for the misunderstanding and acknowledged that it was a family room and gave us the fair amount of towels to exchange instead of having to charge us for the remaining towels. The security guards at the front door were nice as they smiled and greeted us whenever we came in or out of the hotel but not the female receptionists there. Not expecting a grand welcome but a simple smile gesture would be better than nothing. The microwave and fridge provided in the family room was working fine however the microwave was placed below the dressing table on the floor and it was inconvenient to heat up food. The mini fridge wasn’t plugged in when we arrived but it was cold after a plugging it in a while. A minor set back for the fridge was that it leaked once a while and we had to use our toilet’s door mat to dry up the floor around it. Anyways, the location was good as it was near the popular night life stretch “Walking Street” and 24hrs “mini stop” (similar to 7-11) and food establishments such as Jollibee and Mcdonalds were just a few steps away. You may also take the purple jeep which leads you straight to SM Clark or walk your way there as it also isn’t a long walk.

Not recommended
When we arrived, staff was not that accommodating. They were confused as to who booked our rooms. The room that we're in now is a Deluxe Queen, which is spacious for the two of us and our stuff. The bed is comfortable enough and the toilet has a bidet which I always look for in a hotel bathroom. Our door and headboard need to be repainted at least, or replaced. Our TV had back lights for some reason, which may be bothering to some but we don't mind because we don't want to switch rooms. They don't make up the room unless you ask the front desk or unless you turn on the MUR button when it should be done everyday with or without asking or turning on the MUR button. They have a 1,999/day promo (they have a tarpaulin outside) for the room that we're currently in but they charged us 2,400/day and didn't inform us about the promo. I asked if the promo is still ongoing and the receptionist said, "Yes it's still ongoing." then I said, "Why was I charged 2,400/day then?" she goes, "..because it ended two days ago." if it ended two days ago, they need to take down the tarpaulin right away. Breakfast was good, but the orange juice served with it is too sweet for my taste. I think they need to add more options for the drinks. Overall, the hotel is conveniently located along MacArthur Highway. But I wouldn't recommend it for families with children as this is near a red light district. Stay at other newly renovated hotels with cheaper rates in the area.

No frills hotel in the center of Angeles City
This is a no frills hotel, so do not expect fancy amenities. If you need something--drinking glass, bath mat. extra towels--just call the front desk. If you need your room to be cleaned, instruct front desk, and do not rely on the "Make up room" alert by the door. All transactions are cash basis, except if you booked online, which will be charged to your card. Even room service is cash basis. I never tried the hotel's food, because there are so many restaurants to try in Angeles City. But the menu seems interesting enough. The rooms are big for the price, the location makes it accessible to any point in Angeles City via tricycle. You can even just take the jeep if you have a head for directions. Good A/C, so it was great to hide in the room on a hot day. If you want a quiet room, ask for a room at the back, not the one facing the main road/highway; it can get noisy at night with all the cargo trucks passing by.

Nice and clean
Hotel staff were very helpful and courteous. Rooms are tidy and new. If you are meticulous about beds, they definitely have nice mattresses! Good food is served in their in-house restaurant just located at the G/F. Very accessible since it is in the heart of the city.

Multi story hotel
We had a twin room on the first floor away from the main road. This is a multi story hotel. We were on a back street used by a furniture maker who hammered nails, there were some barking dogs and motorbikes coming and going. Nothing unusual for the area. A room on a higher floor would have been quieter. Other than that the stay was very pleasant. Breakfast served in the restaurant next door was included, limited choices but we enjoyed the meal. You need to pay for a second coffee. Everything worked OK, the room was clean, good size TV and old style air-con which we used as a fan at night. Close to walking street bars and restaurants. Located on the MacArthur highway and plenty of jeepneys going past to points of interest. Check in was quick, at checkout they inspect the room. Staff were efficient and friendly. No worse than many other hotels in the area.
