Cottages at Hotel Room Rates
Hastily left for Boracay in a recent weekend to perk a 13 year old son after week long tests & cheer up the wifey whose grueling work ended in a succession of hospital admissions. Left late night & arrived weary near midnight in a newly (16 months) opened GT Hotel, Boracay Station 2: it did not disappoint. Booked in a big & spacious cottage and surprised with the affordable hotel room rates. Wanted a sanitized sleeping quarter & found the room immaculate, no clutter, dust & allergy free (unlike most moldy hotels). Front veranda was airy & opened to a large welcoming bed covered with soft white linens, cuddly pillows and cleaned upon request by the housekeeper Manang Elda . She made our room neat and clean. Hotel personnel were efficient , very helpful & solicitous to our requests. Everyone had a ready smile, including Justin by the bar. Chef-Regie Gamposilao (got his name right) prepared Greek choices for dinner. Honestly we're not Mediterranean foodies. Then we were instant converts after the sumptuous meal, ably assisted Fritz the room service personnel. Try the grilled lamp shoulder, she suggested: best with fresh moussaka. The kebab was a good choice. Side dishes were a generous meals by themselves, in small cups. The French fries were crisp with enough Parmesan. Fried rice with bell pepper was bursting with flavors. The gratin was a smoothie, velvety:baked potato in white sauce topped with generous mozzarella cheese. Menu should include hot chocolate drinks for kids and non coffee beverages for late night meals.Breakfast of corned beef was okay. But the great beach front location takes the level up in this hotel. Its a good 2 minute walk to Dmall. One takes an electronic trike to Talipapa, @ P60 for maximum of six passengers. It's surprisingly just a 15 min walk to Talipapa. For those hauling big luggages suggest to call hotel number for assistance pickup from main road which can be a punishing 4minute walk, in the rain, so call front desk ladies at 036 2883020 and ask for - Alliza Borja & Candy Beltran; with personnel cell phone at 09173001600. They are superb & accommodating. Reysan & Joven assisted us out to the main road. Suggest to coordinate hotel transfers specially for small boat rides at Tabon Port which is not a usual route during the rainy months of June to October each year. You may have a bad time there with slow porters and bored dispatchers, so avoid exiting from this point, only if you can.

Our Summer Vacation
We stayed for 4 nights in this hotel with my siblings and daughter. We loved how clean and Greek inspired the rooms are. Family loft type room can accommodate 6 people and did not expect that the place is SUPER B, service and people are so nice. GT HOTELS is located in the beachfront of station 2 which few steps away from restaurants and D'mall. We enjoyed are stay and definitely be back next year :) Thank you GT Hotel Team!

Greek Food??
Sorry but the food on that menu is so far away from AUTHENTIC GREEK food it is not even close to any thing mediterranean" Tzaziki: supposed to be a nice creamy yoghurt based cucumber dip enriched with garlic and mediterranean spices. On offer is a boring watery cucumber mix without any taste at all.. There is literally no GYROS on the menu, the whole concept of sophisticated GREEK barbecue is missing, not mention the typical taste What you receive are however barbecue sticks described as Souvlaki which hardly make any difference from the street vendors on the main street.. No feta Cheese, no great fresh greek salad, nothing that represents great greek food Sorry, but this cooking is not even Greek for beginners, better go to CYMA IN D'Mall, they have at least some authentic flaming cheese dishes and.... Some OUZO

Greek food in the Philippines
To the front of the hotel is their Greek food restaurant. We hadn't been to a Greek restaurant in a while so decided to give it a try and we were glad we did. Good service and tasty Greek food, with my vegetarian daughter adequately catered for, and all for a reasonable price, with a view of the beach whilst we ate as an added bonus.

Great for barkada!
Location What I love? - The hotel is beach front. - The hotel is located at Station 2, it's few steps away from D'Mall. - Even it's part of Station 2, it's also near station 1, by near I mean no need to take tricycle just to go to Jonah's,. Room What I love? - My friends and I booked 2 family loft type rooms. We loved how clean and Greek inspired the rooms are. Each room can absolutely accommodate 5 people. - It is noticeable that the rooms are still new. - The AC + comforter combo really did help for us to have a good sleep. - The bathroom is quite spacious and also clean. What to improve? - The mattresses on the loft should also have comforter as well. It was unfair for those who stayed on the loft because they only got thin sheets. Amenities What I love? - The hotel has beach lounge chairs. - There's a bar at the entrance of the hotel. You can always order beer/cocktail. What to improve? -Wifi connection was only good at the bar, they should improve wifi inside the rooms as well. Food What I love? - The family loft's Php5k+ per night rate comes with a decent free breakfast for 5 people. - Happy hour from 5pm-8pm. Service What I love? - Everyone was friendly and helpful.
