Kimberly Anne S
Affordable; Near D'Mall; Same alley as Fat Jimmy's & Alamo Bay Inn
I got in touch with them thru their fb page, and was able to book 2 quad rooms in their place in Station 2.(They also have rooms in Station 1 which I believe is their main place) Ms Jane, who i think is the owner, gave me discount and even sent Kim, one of her staff, to meet us at the port and accompany us to the hotel. When we got there, I realized that its the same alley as Alamo, where i stayed before. I dont mind the wet market, its just that the alley to the compound is near the garbage bins, and you need to endure the smell when you pass by. The rooms are spacious, with working ac, fridge, and cable tv. Theres also a small dining table and on our case, they provided us with cooking and dining utensils. We just need to buy butane for the stove. I just didnt like the beddings, pillows are not comfortable. Lastly, the people occupying the unit opposite ours are always drinking outside their room and even sits by our door, it felt awkward, almost no privacy, men drinking just outside your door. idk if theyre also tourists or locals. We also had problem with the water supply, it was dirty when we first tried to use it, and eventually went okay. They offered to transfer us to another room but i declined since were already settled in the room. I also hope that they will initiate cleaning the rooms or change towels and add more door mats or rags. overall, it was okay and would definitely go back.
