One of the front desk staff seems to be impolite. Fortunately, utilities/cleaners has the best attitude in the hotel.
Good to stay in. Affordable and comfy room.

The need for EMPATHY to PWDs & Senior Citizens
I had high expectations with this hotel but upon the arrival of my four guest three of whom were senior citizens and two of them were PWDs. My Tito had just had his heart surgery in July 2016 and my Tita was is half-paralyzed aided with a cane when she walks. A wheelchair is highly needed for her especially for long distance walks. The availability of the wheelchair was the reason why I chose this hotel when i made the reservation back in november 2016. To my dismay, upon the arrival of my visitors in the hotel in Jan. 21, the male receptionist or the Front Office ladies never offered a wheelchair. The rooms reserved were on the 2nd Level and the elevator made the ascend convenient - so i just let it go. On Sunday Jan.22, i requested the FO lady if it is possible that we could borrow a wheelcheer for my tita's use in visiting Plantaion Bay and Shangrila. The FO lady simply said: Mam, we are very sorry but we only have 1 wheelchair and we would need to have this available for our "other senior guests." Her remark made me dumb-founded and i thought to myself "do you know what you're talking about?" Wow -- how stupid could this staff be? We had to run to beat the traffic in Mandaue so, i let it go a second time. In the evening after returning to the hotel, holding on to my composure, i spoke to the FO lady on duty and aired my unpleasant experience. I also pleaded if we could borrow the wheelchair for Monday for my Tita as we are scheduled to visit the Church in Simala. I was given the same excuse. Early on Monday, i asked to speak with any Supervisor on duty and she too spoke the same way as with her FO staff, im not surprised. Being a supervisor, id liken her to be a fruit-bearing tree, a mango tree doesnt bear apple fruits. She said: Mam IM SORRY because we only have 1 wheelchair and we need to have it ready for other senior guests. I made a follow up with management for an additional unit but it hasnt arrived yet. Again IM REALLY SORRY we cannot let you use the wheelchair and I hope you understand." Seriously?!? No, i dont understand because you have a wheelchair but for what display? I too am a Hotelier and i personally conducted the training of all our staff. You dont even know WHEN to use IM SORRY OR I APOLOGIZE. All you want is the money for the stay in your hotel but YOU FAIL TO GIVE BACK THE VALUE FOR MONEY OF YOUR GUESTS. More importantly, talkin about CUSTOMER SERVICE -- honestly, the EXPERIENCE WAS REALLY HORRIBLE. If you want to keep your business and your jobs going, you really need to improve a lot! If you need help, id be willing! I cant recommend your hotel to friends unless you desire TO CHANGE!

the staff lacks "sense of urgency"
I was a victim of riding in tandem in Cebu City and my shoulder bag with valuables was snatched to me while hailing a cab along Escario Ave. cor Acacia St. last December 29, 2016 at 9PM. When I went back to the hotel to ask for help they are not as helpful. I could say that the staff lacks "sense of urgency." They even charged me with 250 pesos for the lost hotel keycard that was included in the shoulder bag that was stolen. I asked the hotel staff if I could talk to the manager and ask not to charge me since I have the police incident report and the fact that I was just a tourist and the money I have is not enough for me get to the airport. I explained to them that my ATM card was also included in the bag but they did not consider that, they still charged me. There should be a manager on duty 24hrs. Aside from that the hotel had noisy aircon, dirty and leaking restroom. Not safe to arrive especially during the night time since there is no security guard on duty at night only the receptionists. I will ever ever going to stay here again.

Dirty and tiny rooms
We stayed here only as a pit stop on our travels - arriving evening time and taking a morning flight the next day. The room was VERY small and the shower/toilet were both far from clean. We had to ask for new towels, because the ones we received had marks on them. We did end up getting a nice night's sleep and the coffee at the in-house restaurant was actually very good. Staff was friendly. I should mention that for our purposes, this was everything we needed and that compared to places of this price range (on the very cheap side) we didn't expect much more.

Small but Comfortable Rooms
Had to stay here for a night because I left my keys inside my apartment. Their rooms are a bit small but just enough for 2 guests. They have clean sheets and linens too which I like as it makes me sleep well. I would stay again when I need to.

Needs lots of improvement
First and foremost, the size of the shower area sucks. Food quality not matching the price. Some staff were not as polite. We basically had our bags checked at the lounge because of a missing hanger in the room and found none from our stuff. We felt violated. The location was great but never ever going to stay here again.
