NO FREE BREAKFAST, EXPENSIVE, SMALL ROOMS
No free breakfast (they mentioned that free breakfast is included in the payment) thin blankets broken shower dirty room unfriendly staff During reservation, free breakfast is included in the payment but when we ask the front desk about it there's an additional payment. The room has a nice aircon but the blanket is too thin I was sick while staying there. We asked for a deluxe room but when we check in they just merged the two beds, it's one of the reasons why we can't sleep uncomfortably. Our room has a broken shower, we weren't able to take a bath properly. When we arrived to the hotel they are unfriendly and asked us to wait, we almost fell asleep in the couch.

Appeal to all travellers! Do not book this hotel!
Do not book this hotel if you don't want to be mistreated as animals! Even if you complain something about your room, the supervisor will just tell you they cannot do anything about it! If you tell them you cannot sleep on your room bec of annoying noise coming from their roof and vent, they will let you change room but with an extra charge!

Customer Service needs improvement.
This is the second time that I stayed at Hotel Stella, first time was last June, I called the hotel in advance to check if we can check in earlier, check in time is 2PM and we arrived a little past 1PM, since I also work in the hotel business I understand that each hotel has their own rules but it would have been better if the front desk staff could inform us in a courteous manner and not in a way that made us look stupid for not understanding check in time. During check out since our flight to manila is in the afternoon we asked what the latest check out time is and if its possible for us to pay extra fee, however we were told that latest time is only until 12:30, I went out of the room at around 12:07 and my stuff are still inside when I used the key card it would no longer allow me to go back in. So much for a 12:30 extension. I just hope they could be more flexible especially if the people who usually book hotels are travelling and flight schedules are sometimes either too early or too late and some are just too ties to go some place else. Also food could use some improvement, we ordered breakfast, which is not available until 6AM when they said kitchen is open 24 hours and the tuna sandwich sucks. Location is good especially if you need to be around the center of of Cebu City, highly accessible to public transport and restaurants, small rooms but decent, water has a certain smell, toiletries are not that good so better bring your own soap and shampoo.

Do not book this hotel! Please do not ever support this hotel!
My husband booked a deluxe room in this hotel and checked in at around past 10pm. When he went into the room there was a strong and annnoying noise coming from the vent that he cannot sleep with it so he called the front desk to request for room change. Unfortunately the front desk told him that it is the last room for de luxe so he needs to add payment for him to be transferred to superior room! What? Are you kidding me? It is my first time to see a hotel with that kind of attutude! To think that it is a hospitality business! It is not the customers fault if the room is not conducive for the night! How can anyone sleep with that kind of noise? They must not offer that room to anyone or if there is any complaint, it is the hotel's responsibility to change the room without any cost bec there is a fault in their part! So my husband just went to the front desk to move out and ask for refund. They said they will refund it but he needs to email traveloka to cancel the booking. Are you kidding me? That was already around 11pm? So my husband got angry and the front desk called their supervisor. They talked through phone and the supervisor told him that he cannot do anything about it. he will be the one to email traveloka the next morning for the refund. Imagine the stress and hassle of going back to the hotel for the refund? My husband went to the barangay at around 12midnight to file a complaint against Hotel Stella for what they did and looked for another hotel to stay for the night. To our fellow travellers i ask you to please do not support this hotel! It is not worth it! Let us not support these businesses with bad service and bad attitude!

Budget hotel
Satisfied and saved a lot of money during our stay. We booked via traveloka app and we had a big discount. They offer cheap and delicious breakfast food. The room is worth more than the price. Not really that close to malls but close to larsians and ned nanays grill. There are also lots of taxis passing by the area---- and uber/grab accessible as well. Cons: no windows. :) but for us it was just fine. Didnt really mind it since we only stayed in the hotel to rest.
