Hotel Stella is a cozy three-star boutique hotel located in the entertainment district of Cebu City. Combining classic architecture with modern facilities, the hotel is a great choice for guests who want to experience the best of the Queen City of the South without having to break the bank.
The property features 47 stylish rooms that come in different sizes and configurations. All rooms come complete with a flat screen TV with cable channels, air-conditioning, a mini refrigerator, and a safety deposit box. Private bathrooms have a hot and cold shower and complimentary toiletries while some come with a separate bathtub. Large groups will enjoy the Premier Quadruple Room which comes with a common area and two separate bedrooms. Some rooms offer city views or harbor views. All rooms have free WiFi access.
Hotel Stella has its own in-house restaurant which serves a daily cook-to-order breakfast from 6 AM to 10 AM available to guests for an extra fee. Room service is also available to guests at all times of the day. Additionally, guests can choose to walk to popular restaurants nearby such as Larsian, STK ta Bay, Bucket Shrimp, and Coffee Prince Cebu.
From the property, guests can easily get to places of interest such as Colon Street, Yap Sandiego Ancestral House, Magellan’s Cross and Fort San Pedro, which are all a 30 to 40-minute drive away.

The shower head only had 2 holes with water coming out of the God-knows-how many holes there were. The hotel can be better-maintained.

No parking available. Front desk in charge doesn't know how to handle a customer. And when We got our room I was very disappointed because the shower is not functioning well. Room is old. I was there 2018 my stay was perfect but recently it was the worst.

The Hotel is simple, yet elegant. Over all it is clean looking. The lobby itself is relaxing. WIFI is exceptional in speed (perfect score for that), the only suggestion I can give is that hope soon, tootbrush, toothpaste & bottled water will be free of charge. :) overall my hotel experience in stella hotel was amazing. I will give you perfect score with a bit of suggestion. 😉 thank you and see you next time soon

the place is actually good for back packers and the location is very accessible. one thing that I won't forget is how they help me retrieve the items I left form their hotel. they've been very persistent trying to reach me and extend their help. they even make an effort to send it to a courier that will deliver me the items here in Manila. they are indeed trustworthy. thank you guys!

The accommodation is how we expected it to be. Location wise, it's near the city center and walking distance if you want to grab some food. The only downside is the internet/wifi connection, we couldn't connect during our 5day stay. They had a problem with their provider, hope it would be fixed soon.

The staff was unwelcoming, the room was old, the hot & cold (shower) was not functioning. We paid in full prior to our reservation dates. We were supposed to check-in at 2pm but came at around 5:20, but our room wasn't available so we waited for 30 minutes. They said our room was being cleaned. Super bad service.

Poor wifi, no wifi at all. Food is expensive. Late Check out for at least 30mins is not allowed. Overall grade unsatisfactorily. I will not definitely recommend this to others.
