Would spend my money another place
We got to the hotel around 8 in the evening. We couldn't reach the hotel on their phone, cause the phone number on their site is wrong. They have free airport shuttle, but since we couldn't reach them we needed to take a tricycle. Luckily they paid the tricycle bill for us. They were really nice at first, but then we got our room.
There was no toilet seat, the shower wasn't working and we only had one fan. We were three people in a small room with a bunk bed. And the fan was on the floor. Needless to say, the person in the top bunk didn't sleep that well cause of the heat.
When we asked for a toilet seat, they didn't have one. The tv didn't work either, neither did the shower. So we wanted to talk to the manager about changing rooms. When we said we wanted to speak to the manager, they were able to find a toilet seat. We had to sleep one night in the first room before we could change.
As we figured out, the place is really far from the center, so we wanted to cancel three nights. The manager told us, that it wasn't possible because of hotels.com policy. This wasn't correct. We called hotels.com costumer service and they told us it was up to the manager. We had prepaid, so if we were to cancel, we wanted a refund. The staff told us, that we could have aircon the three last nights if we stayed. So we did.
Since we were three person in one small room, in was really hot with just one fan. So we asked for one more fan. One of the girls that worked at the hotel, told us that we could use aircon. We specifically asked if it was for free, and she said yes.
The next day, she told us that we needed to pay. We were back and forth on the phone with the manager, and we got really tired of it. So we wanted to speak to her in person. It took 4 days for her to show up.
It was really annoying that we had a lot of small problems, because the staff wasn't properly informed. The wifi there is also terrible and works best on the top floor and only in the morning.
The breakfast is really simple, and consist of one egg, two pieces of ham and rice. If you want more, you'll have to pay for it.
The staff was sweet, but they don't have clear guidelines, so there was a lot of misunderstandings. They also put tape on the aircon contact, so we wouldn't use it.
They didn't clean the room during our stay, and it wasn't properly clean when we arrived.
It's cheap, and it doesn't cost much. The multicab to town is only 15pesos. But I wouldn't stay here again.
