There were a bed smell coming from the comfort room's sinkhole and it went all over the room. A lot of mosquito.

Still a great place to stay
This was my second time to stay at La Isla Bonita & it was still as great as the first time, the hotel is right on the beach & in a good location for nearby shopping & bars for a drink. This time I stayed in a standard room with aircon on the ground floor, it was a nice room with a large bed & separate bathroom, the room was very clean & well presented, it was very cheap too, only $24 AUD a night, although I would not recommend a ground floor room because I experienced quite a bit of noise from guests walking past as they were leaving in the mornings & that made it difficult to sleep, I would recommend the deluxe room C10, I stayed in it last time, it is a little more expensive at $45 a night but I think it is money well spent as it is a very nice room that is located up a flight of stairs away from ground floor noise issues & has a lovely balcony overlooking the garden, then in the mornings as the sun rises it shines through the yellow curtains & the whole room has this lovely golden glow!

Okayish budget resort
We stayed here for two nights in July and it was okay for a very low budget hotel. The location is good as it's right on the beach, the hotel however does not have any sun loungers or chairs on the beach. The rooms are big but very dated and basic. The first room we put in had a leaking toilet, we were then moved to a different one that flushed all the time. There were bugs in the room and generally it just feels a bit run down. The hotel puts a price list of drinks that they offer, however when we tried to buy any they didn't even have water in stock. The wifi is dreadful and only works if you stand outside reception! For £15 a night this is an okay place to stay but there are better hotels in the area. We moved to one further down the beach which was £18 a night and was a lot, lot nicer.

pocket-friendly 2-night stay
we decided to celebrate our third anniversary with my boyfriend in boracay, through my friend's help we were able to book for 3 days and 2 nights in here. The room was spacious so with the restroom and shower room. i like the view outside because of various ornamental plants. only that the bed was not just good so with that mattress and pillows. the air conditioner couldn't be able to cool the entire room.

Good experience
Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. I didn't expect much initially as I understood that this is a budget hotel. However I found my self in a very decent, clean, and cozy room as the attendant led me inside. I was really surprised. I even had a balcony! I needed that feeling after a long trip to Boracay. The people in the reception area were all very friendly and accommodating. La Isla Bonita is located in station 3 which surprisingly has the best beach on that stretch. The beaches in stations 2 and 1 were covered with algae but once you set foot in station 3, you'll find the clearest beach! One caveat though, the air conditioning unit was not that good but it wasn't like it was blowing hot air. It was just a little sub-par for my liking. But other than that, my stay in this hotel was pretty good. :) I'm definitely recommending this hotel to my friends!

Best Summer Ever
I booked a semi deluxe for a 3-day vacation and I was not expecting that they'll give us a huge room for the two of us. It was a better experience, better service as our room is located beside the office. I can work with my job while on a vacation. Ill recommend this to my friend and to all who can read this. If you want a beach front hotel, not too crowded and not too "malumot" beach La Isla Bonita is a definite to stay. They have a friendly staff and its near in a restaurant. 7-eleven will also open near the hotel and the atm machine it's near also. In my 28 years of existence I can finally say that it's the best vacation I ever had. No hassle just a relax vacation. And I finally met the love of my life(haha).
