The place was great. It is 5 hours away from Naga by van. So plan accordingly.

We stayed at La Casa Roa for 2 nights and the experience was very good. The staff there were amazing, and the food was superb. With very few dining options in Caramoan, La Casa Roa is your best bet for freshly cooked dishes. We also ordered food that we took with us during our island hopping, and they placed the food in a cute wicker basket. The interiors looked a bit dated and could use a refresh. Location-wise, it is right smack in the town center and is a 20-minute tricycle ride away from the port. The best asset of La Casa Roa are the staff - they are all courteous, professional and warm and will make you feel like VIPs.

We had our booking confirmed but arrived at the property and they told us that property is fully booked. We booked and paid this property because of the garden and the photos of the room showed in the site. So we waited as they say, they would figure it out. Fine. Then they moved us to a room across sights and sand inn. The room was dirty. The bathroom is located outside and it’s filthy! The garbage was still there and they haven’t even emptied it. It was full of garbage. There were no running water in the bathroom sink. The kitchen is so dirty and they left unwashed glasses in the sink. Also, room is very open outside from the street and it could very noisy at night. It was a horrible stay.

We felt discriminated. It is so obvious that their treatment with those "rich" guests are better than how they treat us. As if we didn't pay for our stay?!
