I reserved a room good for 3 persons, but when we arrived it was only a room for 2 that was given to us. They just added a bunk bed which was very uncomfortable to sleep on. but generally it is still a good hostel with clean room and nice ambiance

It is near baywalk and everything.

Everything is great: quite location, clean rooms, accommodating staff, and it's cheap too! Totally worth it.

Great value for money. Highly recommended

Being close to the tourist spot areas makes this a good choice . It is clean and comfortable.

Incredible value, great location, comfortable rooms with AC. I have no complaints about this place. I was "upgraded" to the family room with 7 beds for my first night. It was very comfortable and spacious. The second night I moved to the single room which was quite small but still comfortable. Nice courtyard. Easy to arrange Underground River tour from here. No breakfast, but packaged snacks and drinks are for sale.

Our room was upgraded so its good for us. The place is good overall and staff was accomodating.

It is an old house converted into an inn. It is well maintained, and the place looks and smells clean. Not musty at all for an old house. I seemed to have been "an overbooking" (surprise surprise) and did not exactly get the room I paid for (a single room); but get this - they made me sleep in a family room (with 7 beds). I did not know what to feel really. I was happy that I slept in a queen sized bed that night but it was a little challenging for me to sleep in a gigantic room with 6 empty beds. I have to be honest, I didn't sleep as well as I had hoped. However, I wanna commend the staff for being friendly and accommodating - and cool, and personable. I am a traveler with lots of questions and love to talk. They did not make it hard for me to interact with them at all. My stay in Matutina was memorable thanks to the staff and the manager/owner, Girly, who I hope I had the chance to meet in person but nevertheless was very helpful in making sure I was taken care of. Well done, guys! Lastly - I suggest you turn that big ass room into a hostel/shared room type. It will be better for your business and solo travellers like me will love it.

Affordable and Comfy
I never regretted booking in this Pension house. The management is so accommodating, and friendly. They also provide tours from puerto to el nido. A good place to stay within the city. I will surely recommend this place to my friends.

Very Convenient & Good Location
The pension is really nice, they have a nice seating outside, and the rooms are around the seating outside, the rooms are very neat and clean, as well as the Bathrooms, they are a bit old but its you get what you pay for, the staff were very friendly and supportive, i Had a small problem with my AC, and after solving it the receptionist still insisted to ask for the maintenance to double check and make sure its working well, the check out and in was very smooth and you can walk to the Cathedral within 5 mins , and go down town in 15mins walking, very safe and quiet area, its one of the good places which I stayed in Philippines throughout my travel. The breakfast is alright, there is only wifi in the seating outside with fans and places to charge your mobile. I would def come and Visit again .

Amazing value for money
We booked a double bedroom. It was big with a very comfortable bed. Table with a couple of chairs in the bedroom. Hot water and good WiFi connection, something that is very hard to find in Palawan. Breakfast included. Very nice common areas with big and comfy sofas; hammocks outside. Very close to the center and in a walking distance to the Baywalk Park. Remember to ask on the reception about the time they close the entrance gate, as we found it locked when we returned and had to call the night security guard so he would get us in. Luckily, it didn't take too long, but it was a bit scary when we found the gate was not open.

3 maybe 3+...
Average guesthouse. Nice lounge, room was clean. But there is one big and very common problem in Philippines: old Aircon, probably not very clean inside. Dear staff, you should open window time to time and ventilate the room because there's really bad smell. Basic breakfast, typical for this country but it's served in 20-30 minutes from time of order (previously preordered) In shower was mounted water heater but not working. Few words about staff: they are generally kind but be careful when you pay because girl in reception has sometimes "problem" with calculations. And last thing: third day I extended staying (transfer to another room) and went to trip. Afternoon I came back and heard they have problem and I need to wait. After one hour the owner told me: sorry we have overbooked rooms because of travel agent made a mistake (very possible in Philippines, here is big logistical chaos) and your room what you have already paid is unavailable. However she tried to be fair and paid for room in better class guesthouse (400PHP difference) where I have been transfered. No shops/restaurants nearby. 50PHP from airport by tricycle.

Very very hospitable staff
The room was ok for the price. Try to check the rooms available first especially the bathrooms. If your tour was canceled, they will immediately inform you and rebook you if you want. The breakfast longganisa was great.
