This is the feedback of my guests whom I booked at MB. The location is very hard to find also hard to get transport going to airport. Their airport transfer is not available for my guests even they are paying for the surcharge. Although I was told the room is nice. No breakfast availed so cannot comment on the food. They said more fitted to foreigners than local guests.

It's hard to get some sleep even of how tired you are because the whole room (including the bed sheets and pillows) smells like cigarette. Please clean and sanitize your room properly. Your visitors especially kids might get sick from 3rd hand smoking!

They have airport shuttle service from the hotel to the airport. The front desk person is very friendly and helpful in providing information on places to visit, to eat and gave us a tour around the hotel. A very unique and nice hotel with antics and rare items collection from all over the world. Definitely will come back again!

We literally loved this place, The bar and food area is open plan with an extensive menu (not the cheapest but good) the room was fairly dated however very clean and in good condition Refreshing (but small) pool with a ledge to jump off The price was good Tv and fridge Excellent wifi Most taxis didnt know the location however trikes generally did. No view from our room (literally a brick wall) Staff were effecient and variably friendly Taxi booking service at no extra charge We stayed for two nights in August 2017, 1 adult one child and a baby. We travelled in the Philippines for 6 weeks

Obnoxious drunk yelling at night
Positives: Really good book selection Room is decent size Hot water Has a tv Negatives: Food is unimpressive, overpriced with minimal vegetarian options and no dessert Sheets don't fit the bed Room was right next to the kitchen and restaurant (convenient but really really LOUD) Someone (i think the owner) was yelling and screaming very loudly around midnight when we had to wake up at 2.30am for a flight. Was extremely disappointed to the constant yelling and screaming by the owner even when there was no one left in the restaurant and bar, this yelling consisted of him abusing his staff and other guests swearing and yelling at the top of his lungs. This accommodation is run by bikers and has a heavy presence of them in and around the establishment which raises concerns for personal safety and property security.

Shocked by the owners way of treating the guests
The room we got was located literally inside the bar/restaurant (not mentioned in the booking details). We checked in at around noon and there was already a bunch of middle aged westerners getting drunk and noisy while playing loud music. When we asked for another room, we were given the choice to pay extra for a room away from the bar. However, the German owner himself reassured us that they would keep the volume down and that it would be quiet around 22:00. We decided to give it a try. At around dinner time people had started to get pretty drunk, but the owner himself was totally hammered. He was constantly screaming over the top of his lungs about how he he owned the staff and he could do whatever he wants since he is the boss, how he hates his customers and a lot of stuff which we couldn't understand because of his drunk slurring. At the time I was laying in bed with high fever, so my girlfriend approached the owner to ask him to keep it down. As a response she got sexual remarks on how he would like to "eat her" and got made fun off for wanting him to lower his voice. As the icing on the cake, he raised the volume of the music a bit louder. For the rest of the evening, on top off the normal screaming, he also every once in a while screamed out the number of our room, in a way of mocking us. We have audio recordings of how his screaming and and the music sounded from our room. This went on until around 23:30. Understandably, we didn't get any sleep until then. The owners behaviour must be a normal occurrence, because neither any guests or staff seemed to try to ask him to keep it down. When we pointed this out to the staff the morning after, instead of apologising they just shrugged it off. Since we didn't wanted to have the same experience another night, we decided to upgrade to the deluxe room for some privacy. Even though the A/C didn't work that well, we were happy to have some peace and quiet. Well, not so happy anymore when we discovered in the morning before taking our flight that the water heater didn't work in the shower. Since we don't have enough time to have someone fix it, a cold shower it is... Normally not problem for us, but something you expect from a room which is three times the cost of what we would usually go for. Our international flight were leaving at 5:30 in the morning, which is why we chose this hotels because it is relatively "close" to the airport. The hotel is offering an airport shuttle service, so we made arrangements to be picked up at 3:45. We were told by the security guard that the owner would be driving us. Well, I guess he must have had a big night out again the evening before, because he seemed to have problems getting out of bed. 45 minutes after agreed time he still hadn't showed up despite the guard waking him up. Eventually the manager was woken up and she arranged for the owners son to drive us. Once again, no apology offered for keeping us waiting, just a unfriendly muttering of "he is coming now" before she quickly ran off to bed again. Because of the delay, we just barely were able to catch our flight. During our many stays in hotels with varying price classes in a number of different countries, never have we experienced such a hostile treatment from the staff and the owner. I would not even which upon my greatest enemy to stay in this hotel. Do yourself a favour and spend your hard earned money somewhere where they actually treat you the way you deserve.

Price. P1,200.00 How to get there. Taxi or tricycle (you have to walk a short distance if by trike) Nobody assisted us in carrying our bags upon check-in. But on the plus side, we got to check-in early, like 1pm. Room was not very big, and smelled of something (not sure what exactly) Poor lighting. With refrigerator. Bed had a lot of pillows (but weren't fluffy) Bathroom didn't separate the (hot and cold) shower from the toilet, water could splash Bathroom had an eye-level window that was not completely covered by the blinds. Trash can (the kind you have to step on to open) in bathroom was broken, so the lid had to be removed by hand Appreciated the dental kit. With shuttle to airport (anytime) for P200 (left the place at 5am to catch our flight) With swimming pool. Without wifi. And cellular reception inside the room sucked.

Try this place! You will not regret it.
This is the second time i have stayed here. This time 3 weeks. I can highly recomend it. It is a charming place. The food was also like last time, very good. Rooms are clean and afforable. Service is also very good. Also the atmosphere of this place is very good. I have no complains at all. It is a perfect place to stay. And also it is close to the airport.:-)
