Romantic Vacation
You have to give a 1k security deposit upon check-in but you’ll get it back upon check-out. The hotel is a walking distance to Luneta Park but the surroundings do not feel safe as there are a lot of homeless people sleeping around the area, even beside the parking outside the hotel. The room was gloomy and somehow creepy. The paint in the room was yellow so you’d feel a little bit uncomfortable because the lights are dim as well. I booked this hotel because me and my partner just wanted to relax and chill over the weekend. The furnitures in the room were old. The 32-inch tv was placed inside a big cabinet which was really creepy as they could just have placed it in a table instead. The tv/ref cabinet seemed to look like an egyptian coffin because of its design which was placed at the foot of the bed. The elevator was outdated and it took us like 30 seconds to get to the 4th floor. The bathroom was really huge. The shower poured water like a faucet. It really gave us the creeps as when you step out of the bathroom there’s this huge cabinet that can fit up to 4-5 people with a large mirror. We had chills instead of being able to chill so we ended up checking out at 11pm as we are unable to sleep peacefully and just decided to stay at my place. This hotel is good for tourists but it won’t really give you your money’s worth. There are lots of newly built hotels in the area that’s within this hotels price range that you may want to consider.

Family vacation
We stayed at the hotel for my sister's graduation the following day. The room was spacious. However, the air conditioner was not cool enough to ventilate the entire area. The lights were only yellow light, hence, it was difficult to see the natural color of the skin when applying make up. Aside from that, the place was good and it was near the hotel where my sister's graduation took place. The bistro inside it prepares good but a little pricey food.

Located along Roxas Boulevard corner UN Avenue is the historic Miramar Hotel Manila, which still stands today as a reminder of old Manila’s beauty. Built in the early 1930’s, the art deco building was recently refurbished in 2009, making it one of the country’s architectural gems.

Guests can choose between the Superior Room, the Deluxe Room, and the Suite. All rooms come fully equipped with an air conditioning unit, a television with cable channels, a DVD player, an electric kettle, a personal refrigerator, and a seating area. The en suite bathroom comes with a bidet, a hot and cold shower, and a complete set of toiletries. WiFi is accessible throughout the property and is free of charge.

The Miramar Hotel prides itself in providing the best in Filipino hospitality. The well-trained staff are always ready to assist guests with all their needs and queries throughout their stay.

Guests can enjoy their meals at the chic Bistro M where they can feast on meals meticulously prepared by Le Cordon Bleu-trained chefs. At night, the bistro transforms into an intimate music lounge, where guests can indulge in house-special cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.

Popular tourist spots like the Museo Pambata, National Museum, Rizal Park, National Library of the Philippines, and Manila Ocean Park are just a short walk away from the hotel. Other places of interest like the SM Mall of Asia and the Manila Chinatown are a short drive away.

Travelers coming from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport will need to take a 30-minute car ride to get to the hotel.
