No WiFi in the room they said it's only available close to the bar but even the signal is weak slow internet. The place is really far from the city. If your backpackers like us you have to pay 100-150pesos just to go from one place to another. The pool looks it was not cleaned for more than a week or even a month water look really awful. Very expensive food. Accessibility from this place is a really big factor. I won't recommend this place for people who are looking for adventure.
8.5
It was okay but the location is not good because it's far from the town proper and tricycle will cost you around 150php. The room was clean and big. Bur the aircon is not working really well

It's ok and affordable and you can see the beach

Wonderful experience!
Moalboal, so far, my most wonderful sea diving and snorkling experience. Amazed and really had fun! A lot of good foods and restos to choose from. Sumisid Resort is so simple yet very satisfactory. Cool receptionists and tour guides, too! Visit Moalboal and try Sumisid Resort! Have fun!

Moalboal Is Amazing Transformation: Love The Island-hopping
I've been to Moalboal a dozen times since my stint with Plan International back in the 1980s, as a social development worker. In my recent visit, I found the coastline teeming with transformation. Yes there are a string of resorts in this 17-kilometer (or so) southern paradise of amazing white sandy beaches. That means, one has to beach-hop to truly see that this place has indeed undergone a pleasing make-over. Back in the days of old, the popular ones were Basdaku and Panagsama. But for us then who were suckers for budget entertain, we went by Basdiot, equally beautiful but most of all, less crowded. You several have choices, from simple cottages to the luxury resorts...you'll never be left wanting! Today however, with the influx of local and foreign tourists as well, resorts of all sizes and costs have emerged to cater to increasing demands. Take note that Moalboal is hailed for its white sands and diving spots. Today, there are now boat services catering to island hopping adventures. Yes, and that's the one we tried this time. I can just say..omaygosh, the waters out there are clean, cool and clear. You can even feed the fish with bits of rice from your baon... The hopping spree goes to Savedra Islet where you can swim, snorkel and take your lunch by the boat, then over to sardines-packed waters near the Moalboal shoreline and the turtle-sightseeing...Such a wonderful experience on a hot sunny day. Come enjoy the waters of Moalboal!

good beach but lacks water for hygienic uses
moalboal is a good place to go out of town or team building. Just one setback, they don't have clean water for your own use (bath, dish washing, hand washing or for toilet) You had to pay for a galloon.

Loved our stay!!
We spent 10 days at Quo Vadis during our travels and had a great time! We mainly dove with Yannick and Sofie who were super duper awesome and we love them so much!!! They know so much about everything in the ocean and we learned a lot from them. They took very good care of us in and out of the water and we really enjoyed their company. We feel so lucky to have met them and dove with them!! The sardines were amazing, and we really liked diving at Pescador island and Umbrella! Lots of beautiful hard corals gardens and nice wall dives. Gear was well maintained and the dive days were always well organised, while still being very accommodating to special requests. We stayed at the Seaview room and Seaview Bungalow and they were both comfortable and clean. The Seaview bungalow had a private terrace that had a hammock and a beautiful view. Location was convenient, about a few mins walk to the main strip on Panagsama and other restaurants/bars. It was very quiet during our stay and we were able to sleep very well. Their resort restaurant is right on the water and had really good mango shakes!!! We would love to come back again another time.
