The staff are great!!! Very accommodating. The room is so pretty and relaxing. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our first weekend stay, and decided to be there again next weekend for the board exam near the area. Very accessible as well, a few minutes away to SM San Lazaro.

This is an excellent place located very close to the University of Santo Tomas (where I needed to be).
It was my second visit, as I consider that the overall value, for the price paid, is superb.
Very clean rooms - adequate for purpose.
The staff at reception are lovely and always willing to help.
Security guards are efficient, professional and extremely helpful.
I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to other travelers. If only they could improve the quality of the Wi-Fi in the rooms it would be perfect. I would happily pay a bit more for good room WiFi.
Having said that, the Wi-Fi in the Lobby is excellent, so I downloaded Netflix Films in the Lobby, to watch in my room.
Thanks again Oriental Zen for an exceptionally good value experience.

Those staying for only a few days can choose from the Standard, Superior, Deluxe, or Premier Rooms. Each one is equipped with air conditioning and hot and cold shower, and are fitted with flatscreen cable TV for guests’ entertainment. These rooms can have either a queen-sized bed or two single beds, depending on guests’ preferences, and all room types will comfortably sleep up to two guests.
Those wishing to extend their stay may want to book the studio units at Oriental Zen Suites. Each one is fully furnished, and is fitted with air conditioning and bunk beds adequate for either two or four tenants.
Every room is cleaned daily, with linens changed every day. Toiletries and a free daily ensuite breakfast are also given to guests. Guests can also look forward to welcome drinks from the Oriental Zen Suites.
Located in Sampaloc, Oriental Zen Suites is only 400 meters away from the historic University of Santo Tomas. The Bambang and Tayuman LRT stations are 430 and 580 meters away respectively, connecting Oriental Suites with the rest of the city. Nearby attractions include Manila Ocean Park, which is only four kilometers away, and World Trade Center Manila, seven kilometers away.
