Your home away from home!!
Palawan named "Best island in the world" .. Aside from that, I found one of the best resort in the city of Puerto Pricesa, the PALAWAN SEAVIEW RESORT. Settled in a quite place, you will feel the homy atmosphere in this property. The rooms, the water cottage , tree house ( where you can have a relaxing massage), the beach, the kayaking and the rest of the place is just awesome!!! At night The waves of the sea will sings you the sweetest lullaby!! Thank you Eric (the manager) and the rest of the staff. I had a great time! You are all a superstar.👏👍 #Palawanseaviewresort #wheninpalawan #traveller #explorer

Amazing service
This place is beautiful. They have a few room options, we tried the little hut and the cabin and loved both for different reasons! On our first evening we met the manager, Eric and told him how much we loved the property and expressed interest in a larger room as much as we loved the quaint little hut! He offered us a cabin on the oceanfront for a very very good price for the remainder of our stay and it is beautiful! MJ at the bar has exceptional service, she is always smiling and offering her opinions on what to see and where to go. My boyfriend calls her #7 as that is on her name tag (employee number) and I think she loves it 😊 . All in all this is a quiet, relaxing, great atmosphere. I recommend the massage in the tree fort, so inexpensive and relaxing!!

Good Resort & Service; Average Beach & Location
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived in the late afternoon while it was raining and wanted to order food in. The staff helped us order food to our room by calling a few places that claimed they deliver, but didn't actually. Our room also had a bad TV, which they fixed immediately. They also helped us by calling tricycles to take us to other tourist destinations and have free airport transportation. The pool is quite small, but it wasn't overly chlorinated or dirty. The room is comfortable, has hot water, and they provide beach towels. The beach is not great for swimming which was very disappointing. We wanted to go kayaking after lunch, but the tide was out so far that it wasn't possible by then. The boardwalk and tree house by the beach is very cool, though. The breakfast was underwhelming. There is someone to make eggs to order. For the rest, there is rice, some poor quality meats, cereal, and toast. However, it was a nice alternative to trying to hunt down a breakfast this far from everything else. I was pleased with the value of the resort, however, I wouldn't have been happy if we had paid full price for this accommodation. Since we got a last minute discount online, it was fine.

Peaceful and accommodating place to stay
We were able to visit the place last June 2017. Luckily, only few people were checked in at that time. Also, we we stayed at Big Beach Cabana Room. Good points: 1. Big and comfy bed since there's a comforter. 2. The resort was big 3. Yes, it's in front of the Beach (but don't expect too much because it doesn't have a large space of beach front) 4. Quiet 5. The staff were very accommodating and alert with our needs 6. Coordinating with Ms Joan was very easy 7. Clean surroundings 8. The food during our dinner was great! Points for improvement: 1. The pool was quite small and dirty 2. Add menu for choices

Beach is grimey but cabins are cool
Reception staff here were very helpful, giving us an early check in, helping us organise our tours, opening the snack counter late at night for us... However they were clearly very tired and overworked. The cabin had a really cool design to it and comfortable beds with powerful AC. Each cabin has a little outdoor terrace to sit at or hang your clothes. Bathroom stunk of damp, had really low water pressure and a lot of bugs. (which is understandable for a cabin near the beach) Beach was generally pretty grimey. The water especially was very dirty on the first day we arrived. The second day it was cleaner and we kayaked, but there wasn't much to see. Sand is soft but surrounded by debris. Had a good time there at night hanging with my guy and the resident dog. Pool was nice, getting to a good depth. However it was pretty small and there are no umbrellas. We had to move our loungers to the shaded areas. The manager got one of the staff guys to do that for us which was unnecessary and kind of degrading for the staff member. Breakfast was seriously disappointing. Each day it was toast, plain rice, boiled eggs, a fruit, and then either sausages or gross strips of fried ham. The guy running the restaurant was never outwardly rude but neither was he friendly. Woman who worked there at night was much nicer. Also, the other food options there suck. We tried the BLT and fish steak and they were both gross. No shakes or dessert options for the duration of our stay. The resort has a pier area with seats that they will serve to, which is nice. They also have a tree house structure for massages and trained massage ladies. My last comment is that the front desk staff told us a tricycle was 150php to the Baywalk, each way. Having travelled longer in the Philippines, this is obviously way too expensive. Naive us got conned because of this. One tricycle driver, called by the ressort, demanded 800pesos after 45 minutes of driving to 3 locations as he claimed he gave us a "city tour".
