A Great Spot
Stayed there for 4 night. Just off the main drag but very close to Walking Street. Nice hotel with a Steak House come restaurant on the ground floor and a bar on the 7th with nice hostesses. Rooms are OK and well maintained although the mattresses are a little too firm for my liking but my friend was OK with his. I would stay again but unfortunately there were no rooms available for my return trip.

A Very Pleasant Stay
I have a very pleasant 3 night stay, and I should've made it at least 1 day longer. I used an online booking company to make the reservation. Later when I checked my reservation I noticed the booking company put me in a smoking room. I emailed the hotel and they were gracious enough to move me to a non-smoking room. I arrived earlier than i expected and I was pleasantly surprised to find my room was ready. Check-in was quick and painless. The room (a balcony room) was a very nice room. There are touch controls for Do Not Disturb and Make Room. There's an overhead fan (with controls hidden behind the curtains near the refrigerator). There were power outlets tucked behind the headboard of the bed. The bed is a bit too firm for my tastes, but i was able to make a request for a mattress topper, that made it soft enough for me to enjoy my stay. I was also easily able to request a kettle. The elevator lobby area on the floor had seating and there's a hanging cabinet with a silver roll up door to place dirty dishes from In-room-dining (yes it's probably for the staff, but as a grown man, I have no issues busing my own stuff when it's convent to do so). The lounge on the 7th floor is nice. In-door and out door seating, and if you're with friends there's billiards (they charge non-hotel guest a small fee per game) and Foosball. The pool area I though was nice with access to the RBI restaurant and an outdoor bar. The feel of it is much different than other hotel bars. I feel like it's meant to be a cozy exclusive retreat for the guests. I don't get the feeling that it's meant to be the centerpiece of the property, rather a well maintained alcove. Sadly I did most of my dining off property or in room, but the restaurant has a nice feel with it's own style. And I did love the Tapa Filipino breakfast. The staff is very friendly and professional. The ATM in the lobby is very convenient. The elevators are a little on the small side, but nice. They have a laundry service that is quite nice. It's got a great location especially if you want to take in all the bars and restaurants. It's a tad bit more of a walk than the last place I stayed at in the area, but not a deal breaker by any means. It's not on the main drag so there's less noise. But it's not far from it. Queens is now my favorite. And while there is plenty to love about this property, my only real gripe is that it is a tad, and I want to emphasize a tad, on the pricey side. Is it worth it...? Maybe. I think the price point keeps it from being over booked, and too crowded. And I think it's a plus. But I also feel that they could be, a tad, more aggressive in price compared to some competitors. It is a hotel I can truly recommend whole hardheartedly. Thank Queens hotel for a wonderful stay.
