Eastern Samar hotels should be compared around the part of the coast you intend to visit. Borongan and Guiuan are separate bases, and Calicoan plans need a more specific address than a province-wide hotel search.

In Borongan, GV Hotel Borongan is on the National Highway at Circumferential Road. Rawis Resort Hotel is on Detour Road in Barangay Alang-alang. The latter lists an outdoor pool and children’s pool, making it a concrete option to compare when swimming facilities are part of the stay.

For Guiuan, Hotel La Maria is on Guibaolibot Avenue in Barangay 4-A. Calicoan Surf Retreat is separately listed on the Provincial Highway in Guiuan with a beach location. Match the property to your intended town or coastal stop before comparing room offers.

Compare facilities and arrival arrangements

The provincial government describes Borongan as its commercial centre and identifies Guiuan with destinations including Calicoan. Use the purpose of your trip to narrow the location: a Borongan appointment and a Calicoan stay need different overnight plans.

Hotel La Maria lists conference facilities, dining and parking. Those facilities can be useful when comparing a stay connected with a gathering, but confirm the event space and room booking separately. A hotel name or older description does not establish a poolside bar or included meeting service.

For a beach stay, check the exact room position and the transport needed for meals or onward travel. Confirm arrival times with the property, particularly when you expect to arrive late. Choose travel connections from current schedules rather than assuming that an old airport or airline reference still describes an operating service.
