If you're looking for an affordable place to stay while in Palawan, you should go for Rema Tourist Inn, because it gives you more than what your money is worth.
8.5
- Business travel
Clean, budget friendly and convenient.
6.4
1. Curtains are not clean, when simply touched mosquitoes are coming out and it's a health hazard because palawan is known for malaria. 2. Night swimming has limited time up to 10pm only. 3. No front desk officer during the night except for the security guard.
8.8
- Family vacation
Guests should have at least 3 choices for breakfast set meals. The hotel only offers chicken dog, egg and rice/bread as set breakfast. Coffee tasted awful...seems like it is refilled several times.

Great Inn, But needs development
Me and My family stayed in this place from 2nd-4th of November. Beforehand I have researched about the place thru facebook and tripadvisor. Most of the visitors are rating this place 4-5 stars, so my expectation were really high. Our flight landed so early as we have a city tour on the first day. Exactly 7:20 we were waiting at the Airport, I have requestedearly check in as we were travellinh with Kids, I understand it is subject to availability, upon waiting for the pick up, we waited for 30 minutes and I need to do 5-8 phone calls to follow up on the transport. The receptionist were insisting driver left long time everytime I will call, at the end we were picked up at 8am, standing outside in the rain. Driver came and apologize as his tire got flat. Upon arrival they will hand you over welcome drinks (iced tea) which was nice!! We are all wet and the receptionist said the room is nit ready so we can wait on the sofa!! Seriously,? She cant even offer towels or the washroom. I insisted to have a temporary vacant-dirty room so we could change before going to our city tour. Which was granted as she could see our struggle. We got our room at 12nn which was great! Upon arriving to the room they will provide a 1 medium towel which can only fit a 10-12 yr old child. 1 pillow and blanket per bead and a small sachet of shampoo. If you need extra you will be charged 100php per piece for towel. The towels were filthy and have a lot of dark spots (I strongly recommend bring your own!). There were no mini fridge, no complimentary water bottles or even coffee in the room. On our second day, they will ask you to pre order breakfast, breakfast choices were good and tasty. Beforehand I have called them to ask if we could bring the towels in our honda bay tour and the Marketing executive agreed and said there would be no problem as long as we will bring it back with no damaged. I have called the reception on the day of our tour to have our towel changed as we will be bringing it for our tour and she said it is not possible, I said it was approved by their marketing executive and she said she will speak to the marketing executive because ot is really not allowed!! Upon returning back to our hotel, I have noticed all the villas has their own place to hanger but our room does not have, I asked the attendant and apologize as it was broken long time but dont have time to fix it!! Finally on our last day, we have our underground tour so we need to check out early and leave our bags at the reception. It was 0700am, but since our flight does not leave until 8pm, we would like to take shower amd leave, the receptionist said it is possible because they have a shower area in the 2nd floor that we could use. Upon returning in the hotel, we ask if we could get our bags as we would like to get change, and if we could borrow some towel, receptionist said it would be chargeable!! Seriously?! You ask us to check out so early, and as a courtesy we would just like to get change and borrow some towel but you ask us to pay?! No hospitality. Lastly, we are heading to the airport and asked the driver if we could pass by a store where we could buy some 'hopia' as we went to bakers hill but nothing was left. The store is along the way to the airport but the driver said we need to pay him extra 300php, when my father disagreed the driver said okay just pay 200 I will pay the 100 for you. Clearly there driver is doing monkey business. Luckily there were some souvenir shop in the airpot which sells cheap price as well. So overall, great location, great facilities, but not employees and amenities.

Amazing staff!! Great customer service!!
We (my family and I) stayed at this hotel from Nov.1 to 3, 2017. When we checked in my 15-year old son had high-grade fever. Even though it was late, Ronabel, Angie and the other staff on duty that night helped me when they provided me with ice pack, ice, basin and thermometer. It eased my mind that they were there ready to attend to us. On another matter, when we were craving for fast food Ronabel and Angie provided the fast food chain's flyers and called them for us and we just placed our order with the person on the other end. Both girls were totally chill about it. Lastly, to show how really accommodating the staff were. We had wet clothes since we came from El Nido and didn't really have the time to dry them. It was a holiday (Nov. 1) when we checked in, yet when I asked if I can have the wet clothes laundered they called the laundry shop, which was closed at that time, and had my things delivered there the same day (Nov. 1) and picked-up the following day. Lucky for Rema Tourist Inn to have such dedicated staff!

This is the first time we book here and definitely will not be the last one. The hotel looks so elegant. The room is clean and spacious, food was okay. Relaxing ambiance. The staff are friendly and accomodating. :) The pool is good too. Will surely booked again.

My Stay
I found this resort to be ok. Having done a lot of traveling in various countries and stayed in all types of accommodation. I felt for what it cost to stay in 'Rema inn' it was quiet basic and the food options were terrible. The food was always cold and took up to an hour to get anything to eat, even a toasted sandwich. They kept running out of food on the menu and they were not great to offer alternative options. The pool is lovely and big but dirty not cleaned regularly. The rooms are what you see in the pics. Some of the staff are friendly but there are to many staff around the place for the amount of people staying in the resort. They need to be trained up in customer service & how to interact with guests. Needs a lot of help this resort.

Not worth it
Got Room 22 near the entrance - Constant noise from guests and staff always on the radio noisy due to the linen cupboard next door. No doona to cover just a thin sheet and if requested for extra there's a charge Asked for towel replacement they said afterwards and no follow up was done Road to the hotel very uneven and construction in progress on en route Only pro is a big swimming pool and good wifi connection There's better hotels out there for the money spent here. Booked airport transfer and was kept waiting for an hour before the transfer came in. Certainly not going to recommend this place
