Shangri La Mactan Cebu

Great place to stay with family, staff is very friendly and love comeing back to this hotel

We booked this a week prior to our arrival but when we arrived past 7pm the Manager on duty told us that the Expedia did not pay our stay and cancelled our booking, it was a 2 hours exchanging of communication between us and the Shangri-la and they instructed us to call Expedia as they are the vendor and we did not pay directly to them. I told them that I got confirmation that it was not cancelled and letter from Shangri-la reservatiom team that they are expecting our stay. Why should I cancelled a costly booking for 2 days if our family of 4 expecting to celebrate my daughter's bday there? It was a VERY INCONVENIENT check-in. Mactan road was flooded during our stay because it was raining hard then we arrived with this response. THE MANAGER John finally confirmed that our stay is an active booking and gave the necessary service and request. Shangri-la, we are not the first time guests please revisit your SYSTEM. John B. Manager you did your best but I do not buy staying in an offered downgraded room with higher price. I know you are fully booked but consider our stay because we are guests TOO. The ocean/ beach was the BEST part of this experience. Staff are commendable and friendly in the restaurants , beach, and swimming pool area. This is the closest best beach site that is decent so far in Mactan. Before you book ALWAYS check weather forecast. Despite of uncontrolled inconvenience we are still thankful for Safe stay. Thanks to my daughter's small bday gifts appreciate it

Shangrila Mactan cebu still the greatest one, its just the Shoe rentals in the Gym should be free to All guests that uses the Gym and should Not for rentals.

Excellent customer service! Some places are a bit dated! Really enjoyed the Filipino buffet with a show of Filipino dances. A good way to showcase our Philippine culture.

A stunning property but rather clinical, you could be anywhere in the world, it doesn’t have a Filipino feel at all.

A must staycation when in Cebu.

Great hotel/resort. The breakfast buffet was top notch. The pool and beach were very nice, and grounds were beautiful. My only gripe was the room was not as cool as normally like, especially when sleeping at night. They came and looked at the air-conditioning and made some adjustments. I didnt notice a difference.

We loved our stay here! Definitely would come back. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed the pools and all the food. The room was a bit dated but still nice and comfortable. The staff were amazing, kind, and helpful. Spa was also excellent. We definitely plan on coming back here the next time we're in Cebu.

Shangrila Mactan is the best resort that I have stayed! Room is perfect, has niece yard and seaview, plenty of dining options, wide variety of dishes during breakfast buffet, staff are courteous and friendly, beach is wide, swimming pool is perfect for kids and adults, has wide and beautiful front yard, lobby is also large. Even basic amenities are the best: tootbrush, slippers, bathrobes, towels. Overall 10/10

The resort itself is pretty amazing and service was excellent including onsite medical care. But it's far from anything it you need any supplies from the cebu city area, about 1hr each way by car. Our room was basic and fine, but one light did not work and the tv had poor image and sound. Though we didn't use it much, it was annoying when we did.

The resort is amazing and festive! The friendliness of the staff makes you feel at home, they even have baby amenities set up in our room even if I didn’t ask for it. It shows that they care and payed attention to the guest needs. They will make your stay very relaxing and a memorable one. Thank you!

Without question, Shangri La delivers the top resort experience in Cebu. Thank you to all the staff, who go out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable. We will be back!
