We had the deluxe with balcony. It was clean and the room was big.
Easy check in and check out. This is my second time to stay here. The lighting in the rooms are not the same. The room I got this time had lights that were a bit dim compared to the first one. The room was a bit dark
Your average hotel in the heart of Makati.
The location is great. the room where we stayed at is quite spacious and its price is reasonable. The overall stay was worth the money. The downsides, however, are its cleanliness and security. The cabinet was a little bit dusty and there was no guard on duty in the lobby. I hope these negatives should be addressed more particularly its security. They need to assure the customers that the hotel is safe. If they will hire guards, then I think the stay will be great.
Room was clean and well maintained. They charged extra for a little stain on the sheets.
1. Connecting doors were open without us noticing until much later and there was a janitor inside when I checked while my companion was dressing up. He didn't respond to my shout outs asking if anybody was there. 2. Shower area is built in such a way that it collects water on the upper edges of the bathtub and later on drains towards the floor making the whole bathroom floor wet. This is my second stay here. Same thing happened in the previous stay. 3. Overall, the room looks clean. The beds are hard.
Old hotel but it's clean enough. Toilet got clogged. Repairman came into bathroom and didn't remove his shoes. Stepped on all the floor towels. I availed of the buffet breakfast but only after realising the room didn't come with breakfast. They kindly waived it. Overall, it was a good stay. Staff isn't well trained and chat a lot at the front desk.
Clean and comfortable! Love it!
Great value for money considering the location of the hotel. Rooms are clean too. Despite being near a slightly busy road, I had no problems sleeping. Would recommend the hotel for those with short business meetings near the area or even for those who'd want a staycation near malls.
Over all it has the taste of a best comfort in Manila.

A Little Calm In The Middle of Chaos
My stay at the E was brief, but pleasant. The hotel is located along a busy street, but once you're in your room, you are shut off from the outside world because it's so quiet. My room was relatively spacious, the bed was comfy, and the bathroom was really nice, with glass sliding doors, and a nice big bathtub to luxuriate in. The wi fi was strong and consistent, and the tv reception was pretty good as well. There was a balcony outside my room, but it wasn't scenic, as it merely allowed you to look at the wall of the adjacent building. The hotel staff was very professional and courteous on the domestic side. They came by every day to ask if I needed my room made up, and kept the hallway clean of room service plate ware. The front desk staff however was a different story. The only time I interacted with them was when I checked in, and checked out. This is the only hotel I ever stayed in in the Philippines where I never was greeted with a "Good Morning, Afternoon, or Evening", when entering or leaving the hotel. Not sure if it was me or not, but they certainly weren't the friendliest front desk staff. The hotel is a short walk to Makati Ave., and maybe a twenty minute walk to Ayala Ave. It is very near the Glorietta Mall complex, which you can walk to in about ten minutes. Driving to the airport was smooth and traffic free. It only took me about 15 minutes to get to Terminal 1, and maybe another five or so to get to Terminal 3. I would stay at the E again. Even though you are in the middle of Makati, you can find a little calm in all the chaos. I just know not to expect the front desk staff to be warm and friendly.

Home away from home
Excellent location near popular malls, good food, shopping. The hotel though small is very well priced, clean, friendly atmosphere and I return ever so often because I feel at home. The staff are friendly, helpful and always available to answer any questions. Once as I was stepping out of the hotel, it started raining and I was not prepared. But immediately a hand reached out with an open umbrella! Now if that isn't caring and making you feel at home what is!!!! I see improvement where needed with every trip and recommend E Hotel if you want a good, clean and homely place to stay - well priced too. The rooms are very well lit, excellent air-conditioning too. I think it is now non-smoking but can't be sure however I have never felt the smoke in the rooms I have used - the sheets don't smell of smoke!!!

Nice hotel. Good Location. Needs Urgent Renovation.
The room itself is spacious and modernly designed, but could be cleaner especially the floor carpet and toilet. Got working AC, flat screen TV, cable channels, chiller, tub and shower. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is just behind Greenbelt 1 & 2 and public transportation is very easy. Downside, the hotel needs major renovation, the facade looks cheap motel, lobby is poorly lighted, the oversized long table for dining does not look pleasing, the elevator needs uplift, the room hallways, walls and carpet are too dirty. Also, the rooms are not sound proof and you could clearly hear conversations of the people next door. I hope the management would invest on giving this hotel a major renovation soon, and start with the floor carpets please. The hotel has a lot of potentials given its very good location and its pool of very good service workers.

Awful Customer service
My mom and my daughter stayed on this hotel, i called early morning to serve them breakfast and just add to our room fee tje breakfast, they never serve breakfast but instead they told to my mom, that needs to pay first and our room is not even paid, room is paid the first day they get there, they asked right away the full payments, which is weird. Tje bathroom is leaking, too noisy. I will never recommend this hotel.

Ignore its scruffy appearance and enjoy a good hotel very near Greenbelt
The E-hotel sign is almost invisible and the entrance not exactly inviting with brown heavy furniture in a brown reception but the staff are service-minded and the room large and well-equipped and just across the busy main road from Greenbelt 3. The carpets in the lifts (2 lifts that work well, and 4 floors) and in the room look stained and in need of renewal but the room is large with 2 BIG beds and all you need for a comfortable stay. The shower was in the bath but functioned well and shampoo, lotion and bubble bath were all provided but there was no hair drier. There were plenty of coat hangers in the wardrobe and adequate drawers and storage. A well-stocked fridge was ignored as it was much easier and cheaper to buy water etc. at 7/11 across the road. Coffee, tea and water were not provided free of charge but there was a water-cooker. Breakfast was served - you order Asian or Continental menu - and it is perfectly adequate even without cereals. The waiter demanded extra payment for a second cup of coffee but as I had double occupancy I suggested I could have a double breakfast which included another cup of coffee so I got more coffee, of course! This was one of the small niggling things about this hotel! Another niggle was the lack of toilet paper in the restaurant CR! Internet functioned OK, so did the TV and A/C. There were plenty of lights in the room but no light switch near the bed so you had to switch off near the door and then navigate to your bed in the dark! My room faced the busy Arnaiz Road but I got used to traffic sounds and slept well. The location is perfect with Greenbelt 3 entrance across the busy road and round the corner but this is only if you learn how to cross the road without getting run over! There is also an LBC facility if you need to send anything, on the way to Greenbelt 3 and also a chemist and 7/11 and there are banks and cash dispensers both to the left and to the right. Please do not be put off by the first appearance as this hotel is excellent value for money! Try it!
