The most common route is to fly from Manila (MNL) to Dumaguete (DGT) in Negros Oriental. Several airlines operate this route, with flight durations around 1 hour and 30 minutes. Fares can vary, but booking in advance can secure better prices, often ranging from PHP 3,000 to PHP 6,000 for a round trip. From Dumaguete, you will then take a ferry to Siquijor.

Ferries from Dumaguete to Siquijor port run frequently throughout the day. The ferry journey takes approximately 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes, with ticket prices typically ranging from PHP 250 to PHP 400. Once you arrive at Siquijor port, you can easily find tricycles or rent a motorbike to reach San Juan, which is about a 30-40 minute ride away. Planning your book flight and ferry connections is key to a smooth journey.

Alternatively, you can fly into Tagbilaran Airport (TAG) in Bohol and take a ferry from Tagbilaran port to Siquijor. This route might be slightly longer depending on your ferry schedules. The peak tourist season usually falls between December and February, coinciding with the Christmas holidays and cooler weather in other parts of the Philippines. During this time, expect more crowds and potentially higher accommodation prices. For a more relaxed and budget-friendly trip, consider visiting during the shoulder months of November, March, April, or May.

The wet season, from June to October, can bring occasional rainfall and typhoons, which might disrupt travel plans and outdoor activities. However, visiting during this period can offer a more serene experience with fewer tourists and lower prices. If you don't mind the possibility of rain showers, it can still be a rewarding time to explore Siquijor.

Many restaurants offer this option where you can choose your fresh seafood and have it prepared in these three distinct styles. It’s a fantastic way to sample different flavors and textures of the ocean’s bounty.

I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights, the location is great, San Juan I think is the best part of the Siquijor island to stay, eat and take activities. The downside is the hotel and it's service; is way expensive for what you gonna get in return. The room was good and big enough, but not very clean, no amenities and the wifi simply does not work. But wait, here is the worst part.... the service and attitude of the staff, they are NOT helpful at all, does not care if you need something, if you are ok, the majority of the day there is nobody in the front desk... and this bad attitude and poor service is from every staff member, even the manager is not only with bad attitude besides very rude.

The owners were extremely kind and helpful. In addition, the beach is a gorgeous place to take in the sunset daily

Great cozy small hotel with everything you need for a nice stay, not luxurious But you feel confortable and in peace. I liked the service, the food and the services provided. Definitely I would stay there again

Cute boutique-type resort. Making efforts to be eco-friendly. Enjoyed eating at the restaurant by the sea. Good food and service. Comfy beds, quiet, clean, nice decor. Good vibes.

Nice surprise. Great little resort with cosy atmosphere, good restaurant, very pleasant staff, quiet and easy access to other eating places. Enjoyed the free kayaks and rented a motorbiked for island touring. Lovely atmosphere on the island. More than happy to recommend.

Good location, nice room, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good food. Understand that this is the season where the wind blow on to the shore so some seaweed on the beach, but no problem really. Happy to recommend. Can rent motorbike and tour the island.

Very clean place with friendly staff. We stayed in the basic rooms which were very small and a bit overpriced for the size. Otherwise, good food and service.
