This is our second time to stay in this hotel and I must say that everyone in this hotel are warm, accommodating and professional. First time we took the Executive Suite but this time we tried their Deluxe Twin Room everything was cleaned and properly arranged, bathroom was good and clean but no bathtub and bidet (a bidet is a must for us Filipinos hygienic purposes) 1 bathrobe has a big tear on it but room service immediately replaced it with a new one. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful actually but what we didn't like is the temperature in the room it was kind of warm, 26 degrees Celsius day and night to my kids isn't very comfortable so they had a hard time sleeping (also sweating) because they are not used to it, we didn't use blankets during our sleep. I actually wanted to borrow a fan just to make the air more comfortable but I was too shy to ask the hotel. Next is that the water in the bathroom has very low pressure so it took us longer time to finish our baths. Lastly we requested for 1pm check out and told them we'll keep the room clean but it wasn't granted. That could've made up to the inconvenience we experienced during our stay. Lastly it would be better if they'd add more food choices to their breakfast buffet. Overall our stay was okay I love their location also it's beside SM San Lazaro, McDonald's on the same building and a convenience store too. I'm still thinking if we would go back because of the air condition and low water pressure in the room. It wasn't a very good experience for us with kids. Anyways still thankful to Winford Hotel Manila.

The stay we had in Winford is superb. Nothing to complain on the amenities and facilities. Customer service is great too. But please, install bidet in the toilet.

GO ELSEWHERE 4 STAR more like 1 Star Service!!
This hotel is well presented, it has casino inside, restaurants and conveniently located across the mall. It's secured when you enter the premises. Stayed at this hotel 4 nights, due to reviews it came highly reccomended. Long lineups upon check in. Everyone had nice friendly faces. Cons: I been everywhere , and familiar with hotel policies so I had asked if the calls are free to call local. Was told it was free. The lady at front desk didn't mentioned it was only landline calls, not cellphone. So upon checked out I was billed $100CAD plus more for something I never was told correctly. It was their fault on their end. Spoke to the manager and all she said " It's not my department" I'm here saying like it's your staff why can't you trained them properly. She couldn't waived the fee or anything she was very impolite. I think Customer Service is lacking on this end. Went by the pool bar to hang out ordered few drinks. I asked the lady for the check and she didn't give me a bill , she just said it was 300php which I found it odd, not a receipt was given. Another time was when I had the DO NOT DISTURB sign on. This time I got really pissed. I had asked for cutleries to bring up and was told I would be charge 20php, which I never ever get charged in any hotel I've stayed around the world now they kept bothering me for this everytime I called front desk. Like where was I going you have my card in front, calling me then ringing my room while I was trying to relax for 20php like really. I ignored and finally freaked out at the gentlemen who didn't respect my privacy. This hotel is so greedy all they want is your money. I overhead few retirees was asking for senior discount and they couldn't verify and took long and was charged for their bill regular price. Never leave anything around that is expensive, cause clearly for 20php staff would make a fuss over it. Go somewhere else, there's few nice hotels in Manila that will you will feel more secure, and the customer service is excellent. I would say the worst experience ever. The only good thing about this hotel was the Interior that is all.

A different view of Manila!
Must be the long weekend, that is why it took an hour to check in. Good to note that employees are trying very hard to provide excellent service and never fail to greet guests. The pool was full of kids with their family maximizing the break. Good thing there are no over-acting and over-privileged guests. Everyone is chill! We enjoyed our stay. We did not expect there is a view of Manila Bay and the port. The bed looks and feels comfortable . The rain shower and studio lighted mirror was also the best. No bidet though. Frustrating though that due to miscommunication, it took 3 hours for our food to be delivered by the Pool Bar. We had to ask them to deliver to our room instead. And that they charged it to another room, which we already cancelled the day before we checked in. But still great to note that employees tried their best to provide excellent service. Very neutral and calm. We will still come back for a quick escape!

Hidden Gem in Manila
My sister stayed at Winford Hotel for 2 weeks and I visited her everyday so you can stay I pretty much stayed at this hotel. I enjoyed their daily breakfast, not much selection but the food was good. We worked our daily on the 11tj floor and had a quick swim one day - nice facilities. We watched one of the "free" concerts - its free if you are willing to stand around the outside of a cordoned off area that serves good and drinks with admission of 1000/per person. I don't mind paying the 1000 but they were always sold out of space as it's saved for their regular casino goers. Not a good way to satisfy new customers that don't necessarily want to gamble. But I understand from a business aspect that we're not worth as much as the gamblers Nice clean rooms, safe once you're inside as outside the hotel is a little questionable. It is convenient as SM is literally across the street I would stay at his hotel if I visit with my family

Very inconvenient
This is not the first time i have booked my parents to stay in winford through agoda. Everytime the cgeck in arrives it always seems to have a confusion the reception tends to always make it difficult for the guest to check in as if the booking is not real! I am living overseas and for me to let may parents relax once in awhile i book them a hotel room i find agoda very good as i can always do that here. I also use it on my personal travels. It is just a shame that they tend to somehow question a lot of things when all details must be in the system. Working in hospitality makes me feel bad that my parents are treated this way specially in my own country. Bother the guest atleast do your job and gather all the information needed. Scondly all the special request that i have mentioned never happened so why bother put an option when no one not once do it. I hope agoda and winford will do something about this as my parents really love the hotel its the process that makes it sucks. From my moms birthday my parents anniversary even my nephews birthday all the requests never happened.

Stayed here for fun, we had the junior suite. It has one queen size bed good for 2 adults & 2 kids. The room has it's own living room with a huge sofa, the bathroom was also big it has both shower & bathtub. The hotel has a restaurant, gym, casino, spa services (massage, manicure etc) & an outside pool.
