Good location, easy access to many good restaurants and handy to find when entering city. Hydro to several rooms went out in the middle of the night, 1 am, still off by 10 am, front desk not concerned. Paid an extra 6 euros for parking, limited space, cramped conditions underneath building. Lucky we were driving a small car. Breakfast okay, a bit of fresh fruit would have been nice

this hotel was much better than we expected - it is perfectly situated near the train station and in easy walk of the beautiful river Douro. The room was comfortable and clean, breakfast was good, the staff were very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be staying again in the future - thank you - a very pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Well located budget hotel, room was clean and staff friendly and breakfast was Ok. The bathroom had a very strong chemical smell (paint or glue) which was almost unbearable, this made the whole room smell very unpleasant. The heating was inadequate and the room became pretty cold during the night. Maybe I was unlucky with the smell and caught them during renovations in the off season.

Check-in was quick. Room was clean and basic. Bed firm. Breakfast room was very busy with a tour group staying at the hotel but fairly good selection. Parking in garage was available when we arrived but anyone with mobility issues would have a difficult time walking up a very steep incline to exit. There is no elevator from the parkade or in the hotel. If you are looking for a bsic, clean room this fits the bill.
