This hotel was in a great location, just 3 nice walking blocks from the heart of everything. Walk there along the river, or through old city streets admiring residential architecture. The staff is nice, the lobby is great as is the breakfast. Our room was comfortable.

Room was lovely, nice that it had A/C which is not common in Scotland generally. The dining area was very dirty with food crushed on chairs. Breakfast service doesn’t exist which is definitely needed at least for coffee because the tour groups pack in and it makes breakfast a hassle.

The hotel and staff were nice and convenient to walk to shopping, railway and bus stations. I wish the toilets and showers in the room were clean more thoroughly. Black mold in the toilet and brown mold on the floor in the shower. Also would have prefer more choices for breakfast.
