Clean room, good pool, easy walk to centre where there is a choice of places to eat. We got back late a couple of nights and struggled to find parking but is street parking at the back if needed.

The updates to this property are well considered from the wonderful spacious shower to the king size bed. Food at the restaurant is well above average. The duck and the lamb were excellent.

What a treat to stay at this hotel! Sitting in the indoor hot tub with the views across the loch was magical and something I won’t forget. The spa was immaculate and a real treat after a long day of driving. Rooms were beautifully decorated, staff were friendly, and it is a very dog friendly hotel. 10/10

We had a delightful experience at Loch Fyne. The staff were friendly, engaged, and supportive. We appreciated the salt block sauna, pool, and hot tub as well as the decor throughout. We hope to return with friends and family for a longer stay. Our meals were aming the best of our entire UK trip.

Lovely two night stay at the Loch Fyne Hotel. Staff were welcoming and cheery. Spa treatments were incredible and I have never felt so relaxed! Food was lovely, perhaps slightly expensive but just my own opinion. Didn’t get a chance to use the spa facilities like the pool etc but wish I had as it looked like a beautiful space. Room was cosy and ideal for what I needed. I found the bed a little too soft but that’s personal preference. The chairs were a little tatty and could do with being updated. The TV was not smart, so couldn’t cast things to watch on the apps, but again, a minor thing. All in all I would rate highly, and enjoyed my time away from the hustle and bustle of home life.

For me this was a prefect location to get around the island and particularly so if you're a malt whisky fan. Reception and restaurant/ bar staff can't do enough to help and will point you in the right direction as regards transport requirements. It's my 2nd time on Islay and I will return again, I'm sure. The restaurant prices on Islay are fairly pricey but a lot has to be imported into the island so it's to be expected.

We booked this last minute after a mix up at our booking for the evening and we were absolutely thrilled to arrive here. Everything was lovely especially since we had ended up here by accident

Rude, impatient and unhelpful staff. Additionally, the spa was dingy and not kept at an appropriately hot temperature.

The spa and room was very clean. They must take pride in their hotel. The food was perfect. Unfortunately the hot tub overlooking the loch [we booked in advance] was cleaned just before we arrived so we had to use the one round the side of the hotel but over all it was a very relaxing experience and wouldn't let that put us off booking here again.

This hotel was top-notch on every level. The staff was welcoming and helpful at every aspect of our stay. The restaurant was amazing and I would recommend eating here more than any other place in town, and that is not to discredit any other establishment...it's just that great!

This place is pretty tired and no effort is made to make it look less tired than it is. The staff gives lots of good chat and is perfectly friendly but there was not much substance behind it. The milk I was promised for my room never materialised, room service was left in the hallway all day, etc. a charge for coffees at breakfast was added without being told there was a charge for « specialty ». Overall quite disappointing.
