Very pleasant, comfortable, good price and location and nice friendly staff! Good anchor point for anyone wanting to explore Glasgow and the parks, but be far enough out of the centre that it's not too busy and can enjoy some nice pubs and restaurants. Only point to raise would be that if anyone has any mobility issues, it would be best to let the staff know that when booking, as there's a lot of steps to the top floor! I had a nice time, thank you :)

Room was brilliant, same with the staff and the breakfast was brilliant! Only thing I would maybe suggest is to have the breakfast room open for people who would like to do some work, as there was no desk in my room, but I’d definitely stay here again!

Great value for money and a good location for the West End or Hydro. The room was clean and the shower room was also clean and modern. Some of the fixtures and fittings were rather dated though - the bed was a bit on the hard side, the curtains were definitely past their best and wouldn't close properly, and the light above the central bed (it was a triple room) didn't work. Also, the three above-bed lights were all controlled by one single switch, i.e. all three on or all three off, which didn't bother me, as I was just using one of the three beds, but would have been annoying if there were actually three people in the triple room and you all have to switch the lights off at the same time.

Welcoming reception staff, easy parking as it was the weekend, clean room, bedding and towels, lovely bright room with 3 large windows. Tea and coffee facilities were welcome, but the cups a bit too small for my liking. Additional heater in the room which we needed as it was very cold outside.Shower was hot but toiletries basic ( just soap and shower gel in a dispenser in the shower). The front of the dispenser was loose and came off. It was grubby inside. Lots of choice for breakfast, but it didn't seem freshly cooked ( we went for breakfast towards the end of the sitting). I had paid extra for breakfast but my breakfast booking hadn't been communicated to the breakfast staff and I was sent away to the reception to confirm it. A pleasant stay. Comfortable, friendly, no frills.

It is good value for money. It’s relatively close to Buchanan Street station (25min walk) and is close to lots of bars and places to eat on Sauchiehall Street. I needed a cheap place to lay my head for a few nights and this place fitted the bill. My slight criticism was that the toilet had skid marks and the sink had stubble from the last occupant. Apart from this it was grand. I didn’t complain cause you expect the room to be clean on arrival and as I said it was only a base for me. Staff at reception were very pleasant and helpful.

I didn't have breakfast as I was on a budget. Good space around the bed. Shower was lovely to use. Tea/coffee making facilities were supplied. My only criticism is that the curtains could have been more black-out as the light from the street was quite strong. The noise from the traffic was bad at times so maybe an inner window to cut down the noise. There are plenty of eateries nearby, and this hotel is very convenient for concerts at the OVO Hydro, only a ten minute walk away. I came by bus from Rosyth and there are connecting buses to the hotel from the bus station or it takes 20 minutes walk if you want the exercise.

Cheap and cheerful over night stay for a gig. Pleasant staff, clean and tidy room up ALL the stairs. Heating rudimentary electric convector with slight smell of scorched dust, but effective. Bed had very supportive mattress and pristinely clean linen, but pillows were very thin. Tiny bathroom, shower hot but very narrow spray pattern. Very creaky floorboards, also in surrounding rooms - sounded like someone next door was walking around *our* room at one stage. I guess you get what you pay for...
