Sandyford Hotel

I didn't have breakfast as I was on a budget. Good space around the bed. Shower was lovely to use. Tea/coffee making facilities were supplied. My only criticism is that the curtains could have been more black-out as the light from the street was quite strong. The noise from the traffic was bad at times so maybe an inner window to cut down the noise. There are plenty of eateries nearby, and this hotel is very convenient for concerts at the OVO Hydro, only a ten minute walk away. I came by bus from Rosyth and there are connecting buses to the hotel from the bus station or it takes 20 minutes walk if you want the exercise.

The staff were excellent, all very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked rather than the buffet style warmers you get in a lot of places. The room was small but that's all I needed, everything was clean and in good condition, excellent eateries around and easy walking distance to the SEC. Would stay again.

The sandyford is a little outdated in decor but it is clean and has all the basic things you need for a night away. The beds are comfy and the shower is good. Its location is very good for music venues and shopping and has bus stops just round the corner.
